SINGAPORE : Singapore's "Father of Counselling" Anthony Yeo died on Saturday from complications as a result of his leukaemia.
The 60-year-old veteran counsellor appeared on Channel NewsAsia's
"Talking Point" in February to talk about mental health during a
recession.
In May, Mr Yeo was diagnosed with Burkitt's lymphoma, cancer of a type of white blood cell that fights off body infection.
Even though it went into remission after chemotherapy, he developed complications, including a lung infection and pneumonia.
Mr Yeo will be cremated on Monday.
A memorial service will be held next month.
