$60m in U-SAVE rebates to be given out in July
More than 780,000 HDB households will receive $60 million of utility rebates in July.
This is the second tranche of Utilities Save or U-Save rebates for this year.
The first payout was in January.
In total, $125 million worth of U-Save rebates will be given out this year.
1-room and 2-room households will get $100 worth of U-Save rebates, which can offset as much as 15 per cent of their annual utility bills.
4-room households will receive 85 worth of U-Save rebates, which can offset as much as 5 per cent of their annual utility bills.
U-Save rebates will be used to offset utility charges directly.
The amount of U-Save rebates will be reflected in the utility bills for July of all eligible households.
