Should a school with official case of H1N1 case be closed down ..?
The school that im in has recently verified with a case of H1N1 ..
yes . after the case of H1N1 regulation have been made to prevent further spreading ..
Alike with all the other schools , all the students are also required to sit by classes during recess .
But before the new regulations have been made , our school is base on homeroom system , meaning that instead of teachers going to the student's class , its the other way around .
Every one hour , all the students would be moving all around the school . Sharing one enclosed staircase . The teachers are also required to take down the sitting plan of each student for tracing purposes .
But with the current value-added programme , meaning the graduating classes are needed to stay back for extra lessons in air-con rooms . Doesnt it defeats the purpose of the sitting plan ? Yes . students are facing the up-coming olevels exams , they require all the time they need in revision and studies . But if the virus manages to spread within the school . Doesnt it worsen the situation .?
Currently , the school had already removed the homeroom system temporary . But all this changes been made is AFTER the official case is been verified . Shouldnt all of the regulations be made earlier ..? After all , shouldnt they add the new regulations before any case had been verified instead of waiting for the students to catch the virus and implimenting those regulations after ?
And since it happened , shouldnt the school be closed down for 7 days to ensure no spreading of the virus while having the school to be clean throughout before the students come back to school .. ? Wouldnt this be a better solution ?
the above is just my opinion ..
comments pls . :D
