Citibank has been named the “Best Bank in Singapore” this year in the Euromoney Awards for Excellence.
This is the second time that Citi has clinched the award in the past 3 years and it is the only foreign bank here to have won the award.
It was given the award due to its strong franchise value and leadership in the corporate and investment banking sectors.
Citi says its strength in the retail space was also singled out for praise, as it was noted to have made good progress in recent years.
In addition, the lender was given the “Best Bank in Asia” title by Euromoney, a monthly financial magazine focusing on the banking industry.
