Datapulse finance manager fined for insider trading
The Monetary Authority of Singapore has fined a manger of a listed company 50 thousand dollars for insider trading.
Toh Leng Poh, a finance manager at Datapulse Technology, purchased 690,000 shares in the company between 5th March and 21st September 2007.
During the period, he was in possession of price sensitive information relating to the company’s financial results.
As a result of the purchases, Toh made a profit of $10,120.
MAS said Toh cooperated fully during the course of its investigation.
