KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – An official says three young siblings have died after being stung by hornets on Malaysia's Borneo island.
A spokeswoman for eastern Sarawak state's general hospital says an 8-year-old girl died Tuesday. Her younger brother and sister died shortly after they were attacked by hornets last weekend while walking outdoors with their mother.
The official says the mother is in an intensive care unit. The official spoke on condition of anonymity Wednesday, citing hospital protocol.
