16 private education organisations were found without a student
protection scheme or SPS facility and were suspended by case trust.
The SPS serves to safeguard the student's tuition fees.
Marketing Institue of singapore and the turning point academy were among those in the list.
Case trust began monitoring several accredited private education insitutions after NTUC income withdrew as an insurance provider from Nov 1.
The suspension was issued today after numerous calls and reminder
letters for the private education organisations to put in place another
valid SPS after NTUC's withdrawal.
During the period of suspension, the 16 education organisations cannot enroll new international students.

Hi jacknife,
I believe that they have already put in place another Student Protection Scheme for their students and have requested for Case Trust to lift their suspension.
Cheers.
it's not tt these schools cheat money but cannot operate without the SPS if they want to accept foreign students
