Students make passengers uncomfortable by kissing passionately on train
STOMPer eyes_wide_open was shocked to see these two students making out openly in the MRT train, making the uncle sitting beside them and other passengers uncomfortable. The STOMPer, who is a foreigner, was surprised that Singaporeans were so open in public.
Says this STOMPer:"I am a foreigner and was shocked to see how students act in the MRT train.
"I don't judge people by just one glance but I just couldn't let this incident pass.
"It was a rainy afternoon, sometime last week when I spotted these students boarding the MRT at Yishun.
"At first I didn't care less about them, but when they started kissing and I noticed the guy beside them had a disgusted look on his face, I couldn't stop staring.
"They really didn't care whether a lot of people were looking at them and just continue what they were doing until they alighted at AMK station.
"I was shocked to see such behaviour. I thought Singaporeans were conservative.
"I know that times have changed and this is a new generation, but I don't think it's such a bad idea to keep that self respect and proper behaviour while you are outside specially in public areas." -
With so many foreign students in singapore, how you know maybe the students were not singaporeans?
I once saw PRC students studying in ITE even.

If parents are not there, then it is up to public to condemn. If my children engages in this type of act in public and someone from public scolds them, I would praise the person.
