SINGAPORE: A food court is now not just a place for eating in air -conditioned comfort. The food court at Great World City hosts Singapore's first cooking class.
Besides cooking classes for adults, classes for kids are also available during the weekends.
Classes range between one and two hours.
This classroom is also the first to adopt an open concept kitchen,
attracting curious onlookers at the food court to sign up for classes.
Martin Woo, group executive chef, Food Junction, said: "We had a lot of response - people coming for lunch and then they just pick up the brochure and ask for a cooking class for the next day. We do have tremendous response for this."
