SINGAPORE theatre actor Lee Weng Kee died two days ago, at age 55, after he was admitted to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for pneumonia three weeks ago.
The veteran stage actor's body was cremated at the Mandai Crematorium on Thursday.
He had a career that spanned more than 20 years. His last role was in last October's The Patient, part of Action Theatre's doublebill, Shocks And Shiok!.
He played Jonathan Tan, a sick old man who checks into a hospital, convinced that vicious ghosts are after him.
The bachelor has also acted on television with comedian Mark Lee.
