FORMER national shuttler Fatimah Kumin Lim has been named in a civil suit started by the ex-wife of the Sultan of Brunei over two missing diamonds worth US$7 million ($9.8 million).
Madam Mariam Aziz, 53, is demanding that Ms Fatimah, 32, who was her bodyguard until she resigned in August last year, return US$7 million - the amount Ms Fatimah allegedly sold the two rare blue and yellow diamonds for.
Madam Mariam's lawyers from Allen & Gledhill led by Dinesh Singh Dhillon went to the High Court last month and succeeded in obtaining a court order to freeze Ms Fatimah's assets, pending a full hearing into the case.
