STOMPer Adrian saw this online picture showing three NS
men with weapons at what appears to be an 'abandoned HDB estate' and
wonders where this picture was taken. The STOMPer thinks it is a serious
security breach if the men took this picture in camp.
In the
STOMPer's email:
"I came across this photo showing an abandoned
HDB estate.
"One of the guys is holding a rifle as well.
"I
think it's illegal to take photos in Singapore Armed Forces premises.
"I
believe this isn't part of a SAF premise, if not it will be a very
serious security breach."
QQ moar
stupid stomper
that 'abandoned HDB estate' is a mock
up bdlg for training lar
Really dumb
hahaha
I see at least a bar on the guy in the middle.![]()
I don't think they are posing for pictures either.
It seems that the guy in the middle is pointing somewhere.
As if they will be so dumb.

I heard in the army, there's a place they train for urban warfare.
Maybe the took picture there ?
It seems to the empty estate near to sungei gedong camp... It's outside of camp but then... raising attention to this pix seems that challenging SAF to look into the security breach as in the camera involved in this case. Either it is a breach or a photo taken for a their mag/publication... Dumb stomper. Making life worse for people in the service.
No. not really.
My CO was busy snapping pictures for recording purpose in my last reservist training in camp. Of course, there were classified and unrestricted photo. Candid shots were taken also. They were to show the upper management, yah we had done serious work.
Actually it is not consider a security breach if it is taken with proper clearance and channel.
I know... especially when they would be compiling a stupid video to entertain the coy during MR.... lol

I past by this place every morning travelling to NTU.
Anyone can take photos and even walk into the compound, there isn't really anyone guarding the place or whatsoever.
These are videos posted on youtube on sg soldiers at incamp area. So if they diallow videos and photos taken in camp i think they have to clean their own house first. Only when they soldiers from nco to commiciosned know what is appropriate or not then they say whether photos or videos are allowed in camp or not. Not to mentioned outside their borders and jurisdiction. There are more such viddeos. Worse take video already still dare to post online.

actually hor, anyone remembered the Navy de advert sometime ago?
Abt how a boy found a notebook/scrapbook on the floor then got all the navy life de pic... Then machiam like got story... Ending with a Navy guy came back for the book he dropped...
My director was like saying how this advert fail becoz u dun take pictures in the army in the first place...![]()
That one is advertisement only lah fictional so anyone can come up with any idea they want to market themselves. They should advert that there are female ofcciers and ncos onboard too to kill the loneliness while out at sea on duty. Like that sure got lots of men join navy and requirements for female soldiers in the navy standard will also increase. Free bordem killer for men, free kinky army fashion and free cosmetics for women.
sometimes i wonder our soldiers can handle situations on what is right what is wrong, what is can do what is cannot do. Put them at the border between north and south korean the guards there everyday stress. When is the line cross and you can squeeze the trigger. If no line's crossed anyhow squezze trigger then they know.
