Teen admits to sex acts

SOON after surfing the Internet for pornographic websites on homosexuality, a 14-year-old boy decided to try out such acts on his schoolmates and a classmate.
The accused, who is now 16, cannot be named to protect the identities of his victims, two of whom are mildly retarded.
The teenager himself has an IQ of 84, which puts him at the low end of the average range of intelligence.
Yesterday, the burly student pleaded guilty to two charges of having anal sex with a 15-year-old and a 14-year-old schoolmate at multi-storey carparks in Bukit Panjang in March and October 2008 respectively.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Bhajanvir Singh told Community Court Judge Ng Peng Hong that the accused started to develop thoughts of getting sexually intimate with males after surfing the pornographic websites in 2007.
He propositioned the first victim, but was declined. He persisted, and the victim finally agreed about nine months later, when the accused threatened to end their friendship if he did not agree to perform a lewd act with him.
