TICKETING company Sistic has been slapped with a $989,000 fine for abusing its position as the dominant player in the ticketing market.
The decision by the Competition Commission of Singapore requires Sistic to remove all clauses on exclusive tie-ups and to amend their contracts.
Sistic has been rapped for exclusive agreements with 19 partners, including Esplanade and Singapore Indoor Stadium. This was the first case of abuse of dominant position.

Given SISTIC being fined, so hat will happen next? Are they going to operate still?

If you had read the follow up report on this case, that fine barely makes up 10% of their profits last year.
