SINGAPORE: CableTV subscribers living in a few blocks in Hougang could not get a signal on Monday morning, prompting some to worry that they may not be able to watch the World Cup matches on Tuesday.
Starhub said the breakdown was due to a cable that was damaged by a contractor doing lift upgrading works.
A spokesman said the service disruption was brought to its
attention at 9.45am.
Service has progressively restored from 3pm.
Starhub expects all services to be up and running by 5.30pm on Monday.
