HE was just a shipping clerk who became a self-made millionaire.

But Mr Yeo Chong Lin, 73, and Madam Nancy Tay, 71, split in July 2005 on grounds of his adultery.
Now, a High Court judge has ordered that Madam Tay should get $40.79 million, or 35 per cent, of Mr Yeo's assets. Justice Judith Prakash estimated his worth to be more than $115 million. The judgment also took into account her assets of $860,000.
Her judgment was released last Monday, and Mr Yeo must pay his ex-wife within six months.
When contacted last night, Mr Yeo said he will appeal, and expressed concern that the six-month deadline might require him to liquidate assets to come up with the cash.
