IT WAS a red-hot edition of ZoukOut, the annual mega dance party, last night.
Partygoers queued from 3pm at Siloso Beach for last-minute tickets. There were about 10,000 tickets up for grabs and sales started at 6pm.
All the tickets were sold out by 8.30pm.
Naval diver Bharath Keasberry, 19, started queueing at 5.30pm and got his tickets one hour later.
He said: 'There were more than 100 people in front of me. The situation was very chaotic as there were people trying to cut the queue in front of me.'
On the Internet, there were also people hawking tickets for as high as $320 a pair on eBay. But as of last night, there were no takers. Zouk club, the organiser of the event, had earlier warned the public that there were fake tickets in circulation and that those with fake tickets would be refused entry.
