Carry GF's bag: Hen-pecked or fashion disaster?

STOMPer Sai Krishna spotted a man carrying his girlfriend's handbag today. He is one of the many men who do this -- are they hen-pecked or is it a fashion disaster, wonders the STOMPer.
Said the STOMPer:
"Spotted in Botanical Garden a Caucasian male holding his Asian partner's handbag.
"There are many men these days who carry handbags for their girlfriend or wife.
"Is this a new trend? :)
"Are they hen-pecked?
"Whatever it may be...it causes discomfort to the onlookers and for the fashion generation it's a big disaster." -
sometimes their handbags can get heavy after carrying for some time, so we just carry it for them. It is neither hen-pecked nor a fashion disaster.

i personally would not ask a guy to carry my handbag
hold a while bcos my hands are busy is ok

but the men are not begrudging....showing an expression of care - knowing the risk of being embarassed....
its the women who felt embarassed ....which makes the men confused or at a loss of knowing what to do...
Just do it...if u feel comfortable....

I don't see why everyone's making a fuss out of this? What is wrong with a guy carrying a gal's handbag? Singaporeans are such busybodies. <--That does not mean I'm not Singaporean.

i think holding a girl bag if it's heavy still understandable, but those small tiny ones, fucking gay sia... imagine guy wearing pink socks, pink hat with feathers, yeah similar feeling at how it looks like when guy carrying those smell girly hangbag. i have nothing against gays, but that's gayer than gay.

Well my gf once in awhile would ask if i can hold her bag awhile by HINTING cause its seriously heavy at about 2kg with all her accessories. Try carrying that kind of weight on one shoulder the entire day, its painful n tiring. As a bf i dont mind helping her carry for awhile, not the entire day tho.

ya women will always be women. Ten in ten times they like to dig their handbag for house keys or car keys for like......at least 10 seconds?
