Trust God, not church. Church is ran by human beings, human beings are affected by mundane things, including money.
On a side note, I don't see whats wrong with investing money in property, even if they really does it, just means they are smart with money. Lol. The leaders want their church to grow and have better facilities. instead of depleting the pool of resources by just slowly spending it, they are growing the money plus passive income for condo rent. imho is quite money smart.

people using religion to earn, cheat, scam, whichever way you call them, is not new. just look at the history and you will know the lessons from the past.
they are preying the minds and emotions of the people using faith, religion, whatever.

Because the ghost was pulling the leg.
Sometimes I hate to see the ghost, but it likes pulling legs. And there was once, the ghost pulled a person's leg off a bike and the person died in a motor accident.

Read the verses below and you will know that church involves in investing money and moving a church to a market place is against Jesus preaching :
John 2:12-25
Key verse 2:15-16
