Ken Teo took ECP>AYE>Clementi Road> Dunearn Road >Kampong Chantek or Binjai Park ( this one i dunno ) ......
I advised him i will take Xilin Ave >PIE>Eng Neo Road .
No.2 Go by ECP , i think oso ok , but must exit KPE > PIE Tuas .
No.3 Can oso ECP>AYE> exit Normanton oso can , then u know Farrer Road , Bt Timah ?
No.4 Oso can ECP>AYE>South Buona Vista Road > North Buona Vista Road > Holland Road > Sixth Ave , Bt Timah Road .
Clementi Road not for me .
Must well go Clementi Ave 6 , U-turn PIE , exit Eng Neo ? hahahahah joking .

I go by boat quay-clemenceu-river valley-hoot kiam-orchard boulevard-tomlimson-tanglin
pax then say must go by oxley rise not river valley
when i go oxley then pax say must go river valley

Yes Oxley is faster ...
I usually go after Boat Quay , i turn into Hong Kong St , no need to wait traffic light , then u-turn at Eu Tong Sen , if Clarke Quay no jam , i go by River Valley , Clemenceu , Oxley Rise .
If Clarke Quay jam , i go by Coleman > Fort Canning > Then Oxley > down Singtel , etc .,...
To Orchard Tower , i dun like go by Tomlinson , i usually go by Scotts > Claymore > American Club that side .

shortcut scotts to claymore, dun need go thru' draycott dr. go into the driveway of royal plaza on scotts, at the end turn LEFT and follow the road, u'll emerge on claymore hill between amreican club and claymore point. own use lah huh, got pax dun teach this shortcut.
1) beo cres thru/fro jln bukit ho swee...cut thru multi storey car park blk 28A.
2) jln bkt ho swee -> tiong bahru...cut thru msc blk 8C via boon tiong rd.
3) dover parkview (dover rise) from commonwealth ave west (clementi side) ...turn R dover ave, turn L dover cres, turn L to blk 17, continue to msc blk 19A, head down to lowest level, exit to dover rise near dover parkview
4) this one i mentioned b4...to one raffles link from bras basah/raffles blvd..go into marina mandarin carpark. follow the signs..will emerge on raffles link center, right turn to one raffles link.
5) from aljunied/gey lor 22 to airport rd...keep left, turn right at lor22/guillemard junction. immediately turn left into the old sg badminton hall. on the left under the bldg can see exit gantry..exit to pine lane.

taxi stands at fountain of wealth (Suntec Twr1/2 or Twr 3/4) to Nicoll Highway (ex. if u need to get to Shenton Way). Mustn't go to Temasek Blvd / Rochor Rd cos this way pay ERP again. Sure kenna f. Shouldn't take Temasek Ave / Raffles Ave cos too long. Best way..fountain of wealth turn left on Temasek Blvd at Twr 2 towards Rochor, but just after Twr 2, turn into the carpark rd and keep right (left side goes to carpark) follow the road and u will see Nicoll Highway on your right. Filter out to the right. If u need to get to Stamford Rd, filter right immediately as the right turn is quite near.

Bukit Timah / Dunearn Road (towards City)
=> going to Revenue House : turn left to Chancery Lane after ACS Barker, Jalan Pasiran, Gentle Road
=> going to Thomson Medical Centre : turn left to Chancery Lane after ACS Barker, all the way to Thomson Road and left turn to Thomson Med.
Both ways cut down distance & time cos don't need to go to Newton Circus / Newton Road.

Allson Hotel very useful, go into carpark, turn L or R can go out to Queen St.
CTE braddell flyover, underpass opp. BCA academy, useful for getting to lor chuan (australia intl sch). bus lane hours
Faster way to cairnhill, from winstedt rd, turn right into clemenceau ave north, then turn left into anthony rd, come out is cairnhill rd straight rd. good to use if you want to go to scotts rd. totally siam newton circus.
my old ones..
1. Going to 1 Raffles Link : go into the carpark at Marina Mandarin, follow sign board to Raffles Link, turn right to 1 Raffles Link.
2. Thomson road to Tanglin/Orchard, avoid traffic lights : whitley rd, dyson rd, chancery hill rd, chancery lane, balmoral rd, anderson rd, orange grove rd. detour at chancery lane to mt. rosie, malcom rd to access stevens rd. more useful for avoiding traffic jams rather than shortcut actually.
3.stevens rd (small lane) next to The Draycott condo at Draycott Park..joins to main stevens road directly at the sloping u-turn to scotts rd.
4. carpark jurong east st31<=> jurong east ave 1
5. getting to upper circular rd from eu tong sen rd, no need to u turn along hill st. from eu tong sen turn right to carpenter st, turn left to carpark, exit straight ahead to upper circular rd.
6. grange rd <=> tanglin rd : one tree hill, jalan tupai, tomlinson rd (also to cuscaden rd)
7. river valley <=> grange rd : nathan rd, chatsworth rd (chatsworth rd/ave, jervois rd all quite useful for moving to & from grange/tanglin)
8. chartwell, li hwan : useful for escaping serangoon gdn/lor chuan
9. toa payoh lor.1 to thomson rd : use toa payoh rise (1 way only)
10. clementi ave 3 from PIE/clementi ave 6 : u turn at clementi ave 4 instead of turning right on commonwealth ave west at the ntuc (takes too long)
11. loyang ave to pasir ris dr 3 (from changi village) : avoid the right turn. on loyang ave, turn left into the shell station and right into new loyang link, go straight for dr 3
12. jalan haji alias along sixth ave to get back to the coronation/duchess area
13. bukit timah rd after sixth ave (condo area) to holland rd : old holland rd/wilby rd/blackmore rd => holland link/plain/road
some short cuts bo pian will use if need , jam ma ...
if not , no la , pax might think i go one big round . Lady pax even worst , think we take her go where , esp. night shift .
I remember one cabby took short cut of Bt Brown pass midnight , pass by Sime's Road graveyard , knn this lady pax complaint sia ...... this cabby kena guntong a few months i think . Night driver somemore .
Park Mall also got short cut for Fort Canning ...... cut into car park .
Bencoolen St also got short cut to Queen St , behind Kopi Tiam , then go into Bras Basah , can cut waiting time at Bras Basah traffic light .
Woodland Cuaseway Pt > Royal Htl
Go by PIE > Bke out fm Thomson or
CTE > SLE > PIE > out fm Thomson nearer ?
causeway point ... i will go by Woodlands Ave 3 , pass by Marsiling MRT , exter BKE > PIE > Exit Stevens Road , Dunearn Road > Newton Road > Turn Right into Royal Hotel .
exit thomson and stevens same la ... but i hate Novena Sq those traffic .....
