Cabbies , especially those drive Sunday , day or night , OMO or half a shift , can you provide how much one can collection averagely , and how many hours on the road , and what time u started and what time u end ?
And any special tips on Sunday driving ? Like charge to Airport 5 times per night ?
Or just sweep whatever on the street tactic ?
See , we have these 2 Azera's bros ..... since Thursday , i can see sense they are struggling .. and tired . Just didn't get into momentum ....

How can every Sunday is a sunday charging 5 times to AP.
Yesterday Sunday was a damn good day for me. I started at 7:00 pm. Start my engine and pickup the first pax within few hundred metres. Then PAX alight and boarding connect after connect in city and outskirt.
One Pax for me to Bayshore at around 9 pm and i charge to AP. What the shit, Taxi Q very long. No point Queing. Abort my plan and Kangchia to Changi Road and pick up street hire.
Then again it is or connection after connection.
Stop working at 1:30 a.m. --- not bad lah...take back full rental, fuel, and food for the table.
Saturday was a damn lousy day for me. Started at 5 pm. Somehow traffic jam, bad pax connection. Start to see results after 9 pm
Break even at 11 pm for Rental & fuel at 11 pm. Just so so collection until 3:00 a.m
when i was a OMO .... Sunday it's about started at 11am , ends at 5pm , rental up and i was home sweet home . Most times lose diesel money .
It's alright cos the 2 days before Sunday i oready got access to lose .
Sunday is a charge battery day .
Later on got a relief from 5am to 5pm , i still work like 5pm to 9pm , home sweet home , rental and diesel cost done , no salary .
Sunday ..... not a working day for me ..... still work , but without salary .
I just cannot do it without any surcharge .
That's it my Sunday .
I oso cannot do it 14 hours daily ...... 7 days a week .
My body just cannot take it .
But to throw away my Sunday , it did more good than bad .
At least my Monday ... i can do well again a brand new week , week in week out .
A good Sunday rest can do body good .
U see , Friday and Saturday is very important for us , we actually are fully charged for the 2 days , but when Sunday , ur energy were drained , yet to recover for the previous 2 days work , and u actually need to do it again for Sunday , it might affect you for the rest of the week .
Cos that time when OMO , My Friday is like 7.30am to 12pm one shift , 4pm to 2am another shift .
My Saturday is like 2pm til 2am style ....
My Sunday i started off 11am again .... i felt tired that time . Very tired until i got a relief .
Sounds like i earn plenty of money , but same like if i work only half shift .
Cos ur body condition cannot compare to a half shift fella , they were more alert , faster tol drive , quicker to think , and these factors affect the whole of the performance on the road .
That Thursday saw Vincent and Lam at Mandai , Vince told me one Azera fella got collection $460 from 7am til 12am ....... that is 17 hours .
Looked like Vince want a shot at this figure , i advice him to forget it , not everyday he can work from 7am to 12am .
This week can , this year can , but next year see him at NUH .
Back to the thread , my Comfort kaki told me last night he got $180 from 4pm to 12am .
His style is not airport or things like that .... like 100% street style , go housing estate just cruise ...... or taxi stand .
my sundays make makan $$$ enuf.
usually start 10am..send my wife to church. 10.30am to 3.30pm ...$30 per hour is not difficult to achieve. me most sundays collection $120-$150. pickup wife from church, home b4 4pm.
sunday driving very relaxed, no need to rush and less traffic. for me start early no point cos returns from 6am-9am maybe around $10/hour. not worth getting up early.
Just saw Vince and Lam at Toh Tuck ..... Vince a bit shack i saw him .... yet to recover , OMO for a newbie can be hectic sia .... today he didn't fare very well .

I can sense Azera a bit not suitable for them , 180km must top-up .... rental $105 , overheads total $150 ....
I suggested Vince to go back and sleep , tmr wake up 7am , start 7.30am , stop at 12pm , sleep again until 4pm , start 4.30pm until 12am .....
Wake up 7am etc routine , i think still the best .
Being a OMO , cos we chiong Friday , Saturday night already halfway to kill us off , not mention Sunday .... 100% killing stuff .

Yesterday Sunday and Today Monday is my good day as i take it easy. Today start at 5 pm and end at 1:00 a.m -- OMO --- $165 collection -- Just enuf for me as i have to do some personal errands for Tuesday morning.
After i get my first pax.....then after i reccee and scout for the next connect. The next pax must be somewhere waving their hand. Like tonight after a pax sent me to Clementi and then i went to top up CNG gas. Then i went to IBP and saw many comforts queing here and there....I went off and circle around a few times in the vicinity and immediately i got a Hand waving at me in a dark corner...to downtown...and then downtown to my home area and back and forth.
I don't think peak hour surcharge do any good for me but most important is all the startup fares that add up connect after connect.

End day , i , so old bird , oso surrender at 11pm , that is when i saw Vince and Lam .
I got $150 by 11pm , 2 midnight total $29 .
So i got about $179 , simply one word - Pathetic !

Ya pool, no dispute about your comments in earlier forum post. Peak hour is really crap. I have taken note and average out myself in my own data. Peak hour many avoid taking cabs because of surcharge. Adding to the woes and worst is if you carry a Pax and stuck in a slow traffic or traffic jam. Mama mia, time wasted. How many can you chiong if the traffic is slow snail.
On the contrary, the Peak Hour surcharge is also a MUST to patch up the lousy lost or unproductive peak hour traffic time.
To me smooth flow traffic, pick and go , then connect and connect is the best.

depends on taxi company ..... and depending oso whether on diesel or cng ....depends oso on mileage ...
We take minimum $50 rental + $30 diesel or cng , one shift at least $80 overheads excluding hun ki , kopi , chai perng and poh chua .
