A taxi driver who had been fined 2,000 dollars for molesting a 15-year-old female passenger has now been sent to jail for eight weeks.
This followed a prosecution’s appeal that was heard today.
Justice V.K. Rajah said a stern signal has to be sent that inappropriate behaviour by public transport workers will not be tolerated.
He added that the public should be assured about the integrity of these workers.--938Live

In the end, conclusion? Some say cabbies right, some say passengers right. Its all a matter whose perspective you are looking from. I have met some really nice taxi uncles who maintained their professionalism, friendly and humble at all times. Some taxi uncles just deserve to be treated the way they should be treated, kuai lan.

Nay ....... not those in my cab .
I even dare challenge those who wanted to complaint , to take down my photographs as well , and take down my NRIC number ..... in the end ? It has been years the taxi company call me up for a Kopi break in their office .
Again , i am trying to tell my fellow cabbies , be firm from each individual case .
Don't do funny things that paxes got chance to bite you .
Be clever . Work smart , not just work hard .
