Was so surprised when the tow truck stopped me at Toh Guan Road East demanding the vehicle. The guy told me my hirer did not pay for the past two weeks and the company instructed him to get the car back.
Called my hirer to notify him.... he just said ... "no choice.. let them take". Me like WTF... Started at 4pm and at 5.30pm taxi was taken away. Really pissed ... Paid my rent promptly everyday but now got a rude shock. Was sad to see the car towed.
Time to move on !!

Usually they will call your hirer , get your hirer to pay some , follow by letter of demand of rental , and follow by a few more calls , then tow .
So sad ur hirer did not handle it too well .
14 days , knn pay 4 days la , then 3 days later , pay another 3 days , walao , still can drive a bit more ma .....
I mean , glad the vehicle got towed away , and benefitted you yesterday ?

i really take my hats off to transcab,to have the idea of getting tow truck team to ambush at toh tuck,very smart
Actually the towing decision is based on how much deposit u placed with them. $1500 for wish means u can owe them max 15days ($99.51 times 15)
.Transcab crown max u can owe is 12 days i think cos the deposit is $1000
Alot of hirers owe up to 14days,company give them a warning call,they come down pay 2-3days then Jasmine will close 1 eye.
then owe up to 14 days again,company call again....non-stop this cycle,unless the hirer find $$$ somewhere & full settle one shot
If i'm a relief, i will call company to check outstanding issue if any from my hirer.this is to protect & be fair to myself
if transcab wish at any point of time u owe 4days or more,the $716 bonus will be reduced by $200plus automatically.even if u manage to clear all outstanding by mth end also no use.you still can't get the $716 in full.alot of the hirers made this mistake esp after a long weekend,one shot giro 4-5days becomes a problem
if u owe i think 8days or more,the bonus becomes only $80 something like that

As long as i pay my rental after every shift , and earn enough , if 4pm taxi , i will not ask too much and affected my own confidence .

Just curious... Can a tow truck co tow my veh while I am present in the veh? I thought they can only tow when I parked in carpark, or there isn't anyone in it?
I think they have no rights too. Can anyone know this ruling?
Only when you are caught by TP on drink driving, suspect drink driving or no need to say one... drunk driving!
What doc can warrant them to tow? precisely this was my question? There must be a law govening this or else they simply can't!
I was cheated by a rental company who rented me a car for 1 week m'sia trip but did had an overdue payment/instalement with the bank. I 'gong-gong' paid up the full amt of $1200 for 7 days rental.
That night, It was towed away by the tow truck co in the middle of the night. After they hooked up and before leaving, they made an inform at the nearest police post. I only came to know this when I wanted to make a report at the same police post just 2 blocks away from my house.
Thereafter, the son-of-the-bitch was nowhere to be found. Sigh... Its a long story.
