Just to refresh , expect congestion surrounding Suntec during the day and some evening .
Lots of TP on duty that week .

Expect USA convoy to cause massive jam on the way to ShangRi La .

Media , reporters , correspondent etc arriving slowly and departing for the 2 weeks meeting .
Not one Summit , but several small business meetings as well .

APEC traffic rehearsals to be carried out Oct 31-Nov 1
By Cheryl Lim, Channel NewsAsia | Posted: 30 October 2009 0049 hrsSINGAPORE: The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Organising Committee will be conducting traffic rehearsals on 31 October 2009 and 1 November 2009.
This is in anticipation of the APEC Leaders' Week meetings that will be held in Singapore from 8-15 November 2009.
As part of the rehearsal proceedings, certain roads will be affected.
Most of the closures will either involve lane closures or temporary road closures for short periods of time. Some other roads and expressways may also be affected as part of the rehearsals.
The APEC organising committee says the duration of these road closures will, however, be kept to a minimum.
To minimise any potential inconvenience to motorists, the extreme right lane of affected roads will be set aside as a dedicated APEC Lane to facilitate the movement of APEC vehicles.
The APEC Lane will only be closed to the public prior to and during the movement of APEC vehicles.
Motorists are strongly encouraged to tune in to the radio for the latest updates on road and lane closures.
EMAS and advisory signs will be put up on the affected roads to inform motorists of the closures.
Auxiliary Police officers and Traffic Police officers will also be stationed at the affected roads and junctions to regulate traffic.
Parking restrictions at the peripheral roads will be strictly enforced.

My tactic is HDB all the way , die die stick at HDB , earn less never mind .
Anyway CBD might not connect many paxes .
Will stick at Jurong for sure .
But sway sway kena go Orchard , will Q for one from nearest Taxi Stand , and ready to fuck off from Orchard .
I won't empty head to town .
Bt Timah area , Grange Road , those places with lots of ang mo , will on call alot , they'll go to friends house to celebrate Haloween .
Midnight this holland road area , grange , tanglin , portsdown , will have many ang mos going home for Halloween party .

Funny , Monday Apec 2009 start , but Airport no sense of " urgency "
My that Tio Call Liao kaki , sms me said : " airport Q super long , changi south every building outside got taxi , knn ."
If Airport is good , changi south cannot be like got that such situation .

I heard from radio , Suntect Covention closed for traffic .
Temasek Boulevard also ....Marina Boulevard also ....
KNN no surcharge ?
Then Millenium Tower and Centennial Towers pax jiak lat !!! Comfort hosey , but many comfort will also shun that area , sekali jam how ?

Just for info , today evening so far so good , night shift from 8pm onwards Suntec area quite smooth , surprisingly not much vehicles in and out , only taxis .
But human traffic lesser alot ....
Sad for those Suntec businesses . Must have dropped a few % down this week .

but ALN sms me inform me Marina Centre out , a bit jam , i think along Esplanade area start jam , as usual .
Not clear which side he refering to , but i think it's Esplanade side .

To go into Suntec , only way in , is from Rochor Road ...... Marina Mandarin side cannot go into Suntec , Convention centre side blocked .
Dunno if Millenium Tower side got blocked ?

suntec enter via rocher no jam.... only a bit jam along nicol turning left into suntec and along raffles boul turn left into temasek ave esplanade me never see.... me pick at suntec then escape via rocher AYE liao

Apec does created a bit of problem for me during peak hour .
But after peak hour , the human traffic just go up like 80% more compared to normal without Apec 2009 . From dunno where really , dunno they hiding where ? Once after peak hour , paxes at taxi stand just arise .

I analysed , and i know why ?
Why HDB area so many empty taxis cruising ?
Cos they shunned town , orchard Road jam , and Suntec area closed .
I'll try dash to town before 6pm , and see how on Thursday .
I shall not go by my normal route for paxes like i did for the past 2 days .
My normal route of Police Academy > Tengah Airbase > Civil Defense Academy > NTU > Jurong Point TS etc ...
Must change . Will change .
This time , i will go by Upper Bt Timah > Dunearn Road > into Town area .
