shld we form a member club or guild, so are able to know/link each other better and even help when needed...even provide lobangs to all members if there any..

Like i saw www.taxiuncle.com decal on one of my friend's taxi .....
from there , more cabbies join taxiuncle.com as forumites .
For me , i like the idea ...definitely .
Cos it's one way .... our message can be compiled and be heard , tat's my objectives so far .
As for lobangs , most cabbies are either too busy , too busy driving to inform , or they are selfish to inform .
Or they want to inform , but dunno how .
But if members can join hand-in-hand to improve .
Can be organised .
It will be a long haul .

this is what i learnt from Professor Chai:
Some of them benefited handsomely from the so called Corporate Drivers Program, an exclusive club of drivers who can obtain on-call jobs from contracted corporations like companies and hotels. To join the club, you need to pay a monthly fee, and buy a special dispatching device from the organizers of the club. The reason for the exclusivity, as I gathered, was that the organizers, shrewd and business-minded taxi drivers themselves, were responsible for soliciting the corporate partners into the program, albeit in the name of the company. How they divide, if they do, the membership fees between the company and the organizers was a mystery to me. Nevertheless, someone claimed during the meeting that as a new comer to the club he had not been fairly treated, citing examples such as the jobs given to him were often not as lucrative as others or at odd hours.

maybe i have to make myself clear...
i only planned to organise every cabby on this forum together and not really into 'on-calls' jobs. any expenses will probably only on decal / stickers for the car. no memberships fees or fund or anyone. any tips or lobang can be shared here or even phone calls to individuals.
this might sounded abit useless or extra but my intention is just getting everyone together.
i think you meant an informal grouping?
in that case should just make that informal , dont need any decal or anything like dat. you dont want to breach the rules from the Registra of society - just my opinion

decal is just for fun ...advertised for more awareness , like www.taxiuncle.com , they have a unique design for their logo .....
And paste it into the windscreen or rear guard .

Maybe you can start the group small and see the direction from there. Taxi drivers are too busy to earn money that they forgot abt the time. Maybe joining the group is easy but to socialise is difficult .
