Taxi Hit and Escape !

Yesterday at 6.15pm, while queing at IP, a comfort cab queing behind got pax and was cutting out of Q to drive off. While driving off, his side view mirror hit my stationary red engine's side view mirror. Despite the sound and his side view morror curved inside, the Comfort driver did not bother to stop or even look, pretended nothing happened and escaped. Luckily no damage to my side view mirror.
I'm pissed because of his disregard for his action and took a fellow cab driver to be a sucker !! What if the mirror was broken.
Mr Poolman, what will be your course of action in this case?

take down the taxi car plate number.. file a report to comfort for reckless driving.

Yes , take down that Comfort's number , and launch a report to Trans and see how HQ want to do with it ....
Also the time and date of the event ... got witness lagi best .
U see ..... that driver will be in serious trouble if your charges tally with his own vehicle damages . Comfort will summon the vehicle for check .
And his location also can be justify by their MDT .
Comfort's MDT know their pick up point and drop off point .

Anyway bro ... hitting each other mirror quite a common situation .... i kena until lost count .
If no damage to my mirror , i usually
him and forget about it .If got damage , i swear , i run after him ..... i surely get out of my taxi and run after him .
Now no damage , forget about it la ......

Many ass holes drivers around , all due to the difficulties in driving taxis .
All very hungry now , so hungry until so much that they do not regards anything else , just for money .

Do you learn something while Q-ing at places like IP ?
It's a narrow drive way ....
Now many cases pax wanna pay by NETS , so they hope into a behind Comfort or CityCab ?
So why do you left space for him to take your pax ?
Give him take lor ..... and what can they do to filter out ?
No space to filter out what !!!
They in the end will tell pax : " cannot la , take the front vehicle ."
Either that pax go back to the 1st vehicle , or wait for their chance .
I never never give space that allow drivers to filter out .
I purposely do so ....
Are we wrong to do that ? No ma .....
If they horn , tell them fly-over you .
Be a clever cabby la !!!!

Taxi stand ..... supposed to be our territory.
But one stupid car jam there wait for his girlfriend ....
So what u do ?
Me ?
I will just Q as per normal , blocking his way if he want to come out .
I will purposely tail gate the taxi infront .
So if the car wanna move out , has to wait for me to get a pax then he got chance to move out .
I make sure he understand , the consequences of waiting at a Taxi Stand meant for taxis .
If authority don't educate them , and penalised them , let us do it ~!

Back to International Plaza , what if they come out fuck you , finger this and that , but we just smile , or act blur dunno what happen ..... really we cannot do anything , right ?
He has to find a way out ... we cannot help him .
Our problem ? No la , his problems .

What you said is true Poolman, the driveway is really narrow, probably meant for single car Q. Doesn't pay to be mr. nice guy I guess.

Normally some things like this we cannot get angry abt it. We normally stay cool otherwise it will affect our mood and spoil our driving. Just dun give the rear taxi any space to filter out and act blur . Remember if the taxi hit our rear we have 100 % chance of winning coz we are stationary. Just smile and act blur.
