The Singapore Airshow 2010 is a 6-day event, taking place from 2 to 7 February 2010. The first 4 days are exclusively for trade attendees while the final 2 weekend days are open to public.
The event stop at 5pm for the 6 days .
Usual $8 Location surcharge , but i heard Super Long Q .
So don't have my problem during the Trade Days .

Click above link to see those Flying Display timings .
There will be Shuttle Service Provided .
Last event shuttle service from Pasir Ris MRT .
To & Fro .
I heard damn jam sia , near Changi Village , i dunno . Never kena before .
Again , it's never night shifts problem .
Pls provide good infos on which hotel those guests and delegates will stay .
It will be useful .
Thanks .
I was thinking ..... if i am day shift
Really no point for me to take the opportunity to Q up at hotel to take those paxes to Changi Aviation Centre for that mere $18-$20 .
And end up struggle to connect another !!
Cos Tampines area , or Pasir Ris area , without this event , already hard to find a single pax , becos of AP i think ( taxi sent pax to AP ) .
Now with this event , there'll be more taxis at East side !!!
Then North and West side no taxis ? Hahahahaha , just my wild imaginations .
But night shifts ..... will find it life easier with these guys around .
I tell you that .
5pm they knock off from Changi , reach town around 5.30pm , they reach hotel , wash up a bit , get changed , and are ready to hunt for some food at Clarke Quay i guess .
So hotel , any hotel > Clarke Quay or Boat Quay ...even Seafood Centre . Surely got !!!
Those OMOs , it will also be a good idea to go straight to Changi Aviation Centre around 4pm ........... knn not many taxis left ! Changing Shift !!
Walan , if 5pm pressed meter ....
$3 flag down ...
$8 surcharge ...
$1.05 peak hour ...
Steam sia .... $30 to reach Swissotel Stamford .
Then connect another , lagi steam !!!
One hour $40-$50 if good connection .
Steam .
Tactic A
Good to stick around places like Clarke Quay , IndoChine , Singapore Cricket Club , Singapore Recreation Club , Seafood Centre etc places .
Good chances to create connections .
High fare connections but short connections .
Tactic B
Same simple taxi theory
When one place has got 100 taxis more , the other place will have 100 taxis less .
If Clarke Quay attracted 100 flies there , Suntec will have 100 flies less .
Understood ?
swee analysis bro~~~
...
Just now around 7.30pm , me Q-ing at T2 , kena 2 same call inside taxi Q . Location ? Aviation Road !!
I guessed they are preparing now .
Of course me reject la , knn stuck inside , how to go ?
Anyway go Geylang Hotel 81 , not steam , better Q at T2 .
Chinatown got people ....
Shenton Way got people ....
Clarke got people ....
Simply la
10pm , me 100% Ang Mor trips , locals to Woodlands , Sengkang , Punggol , Hougang , Yishun , Sembawang , pls take Comfort or CityCab .
How ?
Walkie talkie la ....
" One Raffles Quay to Grange Road , 6 minutes ?"
" One Raffles Quay to Grange Road , 10 minutes ? "
" 3rd call One Raffles Quay to Grange Road ?"
"SHD-4xx 10 minutes !!!! "
"SHD-4xx confirmed , pls proceed "
"Raffles City to Woodlands Ave 1 Rose Wood Condo , 5 minutes ?"
"Raffles City to Wlands Ave 1 second call 10 minutes ?"
" Raffles City to Wlands Ave 1 3rd call , anyone ?'
Operator to call-in: " Sorry nearby no taxis for you ."
Guys , esp night shift , if u see this , believe me ..... town will be damn solid from today til end of AirShow .
Monday i already saw an unprecedented crowd ever for a Monday evening !!!
4.40pm i started , 8.00pm , $127 collection i did , $9 ERP .
12am completed $220 .
End day 1am $240 closed shop .
Wash , refill cng , makan , go DBS bank , reach home 3am .
Solid night inside town , if Monday like that , piang eh Tuesday to Thursday will be damn shiok .
All the way until Saturday !
Simple tactic ....
Support all hotels and restaurants .
Do try East Coast Seafood centre , to bring you down into CBD from Bedok .
And Clarke Quay , wa piang eh , hot spot sia .
Day shift , the hotels u need to look out for , will be Mercure Roxy Hotel , Mandarin Oriental , Marina Mandarin , Mandarin orchard Hyatt , Orchard Hotel , Orchard Parade hotel and Pan Pacific Group .
So far i heard is this hotels .
Business people won't stay long , night shift expect some early departure from hotel to Airport , not me , i prefer to stay out of Airport on Tuesday .
Wednesday i defintely will go AP , i welcome that .
I will stay out of Shopping areas , too much going to Sengkang side and woodlands side , and CCK side .
Chinatown next week then whack , not this week .
Let us settle Airshow first , then Chinatown one by one . Still got time .
Earn Airshow for salary , earn Chinatown for ang pow . Simple , earn as much as possible , after CNY then u know .
Guys , song bo AirShow Week ?
Taxi driving must forecast , very important .
After the AirShow any other big event???
