If the petrol saving is so great, better to take this hybrid rather than honda fit. Difference of $25 rental is offset by the cheaper petrol. So in the end, with the roughly the same amount of overheads, we have a better and bigger cc taxi. Am I correct to say this ? This one 1.5L or 1.8L ?

Understand that Prius from Prime is 1.5 ltr engine if i am not wrong.
Doubtful if the electric motor can be a workhorse as a taxi driving more than 12 hours per day or shift in Tropical humility. Will burnt out sooner? Enough horsepower for Torque and Load?
Electric motor is only good for high speed crusing or with less load.
Just wondering how other countries with the same Tropical temperature and high humility level, same marathon driving patterns of Singapore Taxi Driver, perform with the Prius as Taxi.

I think Prime 16% discount is like what most have - tie up with Bank.
Petrol station onsite 5% + 5% (bank) or another 1 % subsidize by Prime.
Anyway, all this Petrol discount is conditional and no guarantee it will stay.
Pool the prime 16% is also by esso,cannot be used in conjunction with other offer.
i'm also using their citibank/esso dividend card total 18.9% disc,if can combine then i'll have 34.9%! lol

but then again the 5 years & the $5k,this is really an issue for most people
