I don't need merc call but $5+$3(CBD)+meter with location kind of calls are good enough. Not that smrt got no calls but usually no destination if pax call the automated line. Only operator calls will indicate locations. Anyway, there's so many call these nights that we are spoit for choice.
When there's alot of call , beware , why they call for SMRT was that they can't get a comfort .
Usually is those go Woodlands , Sengkang , Punggol , YIshun and Sembawang type of calls .
When alot of calls , the last thing u want is to go ulu places .
With Lake View , u know destination .
But peak hour Lake View got less calls .
Rush period was from 8.20pm started .
All the way til 11pm , a bit left over at before 12am .
Sunday ..... most calls $5 plus meter , some $8 .
Holiday eve , if badly need cabs , $8 plus meter minimum pax will offer . Legal process to get a cab . Not against any law . They offered us .
7-seater $32 plus meter .

Unless pax offered $5 plus meter , if not , Lake View calls all at standard $3.50 .
That's why I don't take those calls, kena north to WL that's it. I usually look for ang mo & paxs going just the fringe of CBD. Anyway, I've PM you my mobile.
Taking Lake View , those were the days u start hunting for ang mos at the fringe of CBD , nett flag down $3.20 nia .
With Lake View , u can hunt for airport trips , hunt for calls with destinations , hunt for short distance calls .
$3.50 booking + $3 cbd + $3.20 flag down ......
But if u are still new , i guessed it not easy to match those old birdie , which is a hard nut to crack , they were just that good !!!
So easier , take those calls to AMK , Bishan , Serangoon Ave 3 those easy calls .
These calls those old birdie dun take one .
If u can handle Woodlands , no competitions one .
Bid slowly . Still yours .
Take Lake View first , see what Marina Sands can do to us .
Unless i miscue , i predict Marina Sands will caused a massive chaos inside CBD everyday .

But i do share that this is a good opportunty to earne xtras .
I am selfish in this aspect , why ?
Cos Lake View's strength is far lower than those calls available .
Many calls no takers .
Lake View must build up their strength , then cabbies themself do their own marketing network , like distributing Lake View namecards to potential paxes .
If pax called , and no taxis for them , the next time they will not call us.
If regularly they called and get a cab , they will tell their friends to call Lake View when need a cab , from here , we gain .
Without a strong fleet , we canot acheive that goal .
No good for me in the end and for those members .
Yes , i am selfish here .

i was at T2 SMRT counter for the SATS job. told to join their group 6 with $20 joining fee + equip myself with talkie.
qn is if I join them can i still join Lake View? can the talkie co-ordinate on both side?

i haven't got the chance to ckeck more yesterday but was told $20 for SATS, Casino or anything under SMRT. But i think Lake view more meat as CBD more important. Anyway, do you still have the $90 talkie? i think just get the talkie activated before I decide. Will check at T2 tonight as I need to redeem my 3 vouchers.
