  Hi All,

  I'm newbie here and also a new driver. I'll be collecting my new cab next week. May I know what to check for during inspection before I drive out from the collection centre?

  check of MDT got power link up .

  check ur pocket got money , to top up $50 diesel .

  check for dents and scratch .

  check printer if it working . Test it .

  Press K1 .

  check if u are kang chiong , if u are kang chiong , u are normal .

  out of collection centre , check for brake effectiveness , and hand brakes .

  Check hazard lights .

  Check all lightings .

  Check reverse lights .

  During collection day itself, there is a van park within the compound selling all shots of things that you might require for the taxi. Main worries is only your pockets. hahaha

  if comfort/citycab, first day rental free. just relax, drive around, get a feel of the cab first. get to know yr brakes, blind spots, handling around corners, turning radius etc. dun be kerb-king.
