I ever attend comfort express class, they got give tips on which to study. So only study those they give can pass liao.
I am not sure that there are any tips, the killers are paper 2 and 5, I barely passed them. For paper 2, no choice, have to memorise all 40 routes, 10 for aiport, 10 for hotels and the other 20 for housing estates. With each route I will run them though in my mind visualising the routes. Some of the routes are plain stupid, cutting through CBD but since I drive quite a lot I am familiar with most route. I think they are using the most scenic routes.
I found that paper 5 the toughest, the questions are either you know or you don't know. For paper 2 you can still pick out the most scenic route, so where attempting paper 2, take your time, go through the questions over and over again.
Paper 5 is just crazy, so many landmarks to remember, and there are many places that I have never been before. My head nearly explode from the memorising. The hotels, the condominums, the building especially (which are located on battery road, which are cecil street, which are robinson, which are anson road, aahhhhhhh!!!!!) and not to mention the country clubs. Like I said, it is either you know or you don't know. I am ok with buildings since I am doing delivery right now but if you are not, you just have to memorise them.
So there, spend most you time on paper 2 and 5. My 2 cents worth, bascially, if you memorise hard, you will pass.
For the rest of the paper, I just browse through them 1-2 times and I did the test and passed with 1-2 mistakes. Those paper are a breeze. What is the shape of information sign on the road?
