Give way or not???

I really don't understand why other road user don't like to give way to taxi. Even taxi don't give way to taxi. I use to give way especially other taxi, I always give advance signal but other just don't give way. Don't signal still can eat once signal other will acce faster. So if pai kai abit will let people flash la hon la. I swear i never give way to others even taxi i also won't give.
Just last night towards ORQ at the junction b4 AIA. Get a call so need to turn right, signal on liao...once light turn green nobody give, saw a gap wanna cut f**king crown just drive faster. What the hell....! If not on call i sure play with him, mark him don't let him take the lane towards ECP. So all bro next time see i don't give way don't angry with me. Cos other don't give me first. Sound like small kid??? Bo bian...

in other countries, drivers signal their intention so they can switch lanes
in singapore,we don't signal so we CAN change lane

in other countries, when drivers high beam means they are aware of your intention and giving way to you... in sg, when drivers high beam means they are going to ram into you... haha

Yah, sorry but I have a habit of doing that too. If you signal, you will have a hard time getting into the lane. I will raise my hand as a gesture of saying THANKS - only after I am in the lane.

Just drive on .
Dun be bother by what other people did .
They are under lots of stress to drive , i am not .
I chin chye , they cannot make my day lousy .

coz if one signal, then other drivers will die die not allow to that particular driver to cut rite? lol. no lah, i have seen a fair share of drivers who don't mind giving way coz u signal. those that dun r juz guai-lan.well, on the other hand, most of the taxi drivers are the guai-lans, they will never give way to other motorist....perheps they r rushing all the time to make money.

even walking, some people dun give way to you and barge and bump on you or your shoulder. this is a ugly aspect of human nature for you. if they dun even give way to you in mrt or buses, you think they will give way to you on the road?

Once got space , as i signal , i already on the way out . They can acclerate all they want .
When i in the front , they can hign beam all they want , centre finger all they want , bang me lor !!!!
Here , we mean skills , driving skills .

Once u signal , the vehicle tail just pass your front , u can filter out out .
Signal ... then accelerate .
Driving Sonata where got problem filtering out ?
Only WRX can beat Sonata .
No other vehicle can be as fast as Sonata .

not to be rude, but i notice, also alot of taxi drivers dont give way to us motorists. some drive as if they own the roads. maybe its because of these blacksheeps, that caused this situation of not giving ways. i have heard of many stories about bad taxi drivers, but i believe, not all are as bad as they may seem.

do you know that you are a very aggressive driver... driving skills aside, your lack of courtesy makes you a danger on the roads -
I kena before while driving van, signal already and I already in his lane filtering into PIE, he accelerate scratch my back, come out and scold my mother. Rub my end of my right side with blue colour from his van (tiger beer). I also sianz... got to make 5 runs for the day, and 3.30pm liao. I f..ked him and drove off.
Not sure, if this happened while driving taxi what shall I do?

Not give way or not, whether u did Q or not, when u notice u going to make a right or left turn, pls keep in lane n Q, especially to hgh way, nv do short cut in front of me. NO WAY. I hate it.

i think the driving in singapore is rather timid. Once the front corner of the car has entered into either lane, by all means drive out but of cos dun be a dumb ass and cut out when the other guy driving at full speed. I ever saw a car drive out of the filter with an oncoming car just a split second away. The accident was averted with some quick reflexes from the oncoming car. So guess which driver was the guy and which was the lady? haha.
Different countries have different driving cultures. Horning here can be considered quite rude but in other countries, it can be "pls look out, I'm here".

Yah some ppl can be assholes here, like u signal wan to
filter they die die wun gibe way to u. But if u signal i will
gibe way to let u pass. Also alot of drivers here cut into
another lane when doing turning at junctions they juz simply
cannot keep within their lane. For me im a biker so when i
turn i can keep within my lane cause thats the biker style.
Dont piss me off on the rds u ever see a Wish drifting bfore?? :P

1st Singaporean drivers don't give way
2nd they don't have patient
3rd they drive slow
No wonder Singaporean travel overseas kena CAR accident and DIE from it.....

justttttt half hour ago, one taxi was beside me... the traffic light changed to red. it was a pedestrian crossing only.
this taxi stopped after the stop line, shocked a few pedestrians on the road. i horn him! and look at him see whether he sleepy or what.
then when the lights turn green, we drove on and he was like 10cm beside me.... wtf. he not happy eh. -
i wld give way to veh signalling to come into my lane, unless m: 1) too close up 2) speed too much faster than his or hers 3) its an understood slow driver, eg. ah laos in their 60s 4) heavy veh like bus or crane mover, etc

its an 'sickness' habit for me to signal wen switchin lanes but wen doing so, i always give adequate adv notice. Therefore m seriously pissed off wen aft i signal + give enough 'advance' notice + cut in liao, the bloody car(s) >20feets behind can honk or beam at me! obviously they r drivin slow initially bt started to accelerate suddenly cos unhapi to allow a van come in front of em. i met few of such & they managed to 'acquire' some rd courtesy aft that...one auntie got tailgated & air-horned by me all d way on pie for few kms @ 110 while d other screwed-up-ah-lao kept a 4 car-length distant behind me when i slowed & turned back pt finger at him to come nearer. there was one Beng on an old galant whom i wound down my window & showed him the gesture 'why horn? see no signal?' He shrinked & kept 2 containers' length away fm me tho me not threatening la...

i do however feel particularly hapi wen d veh whom i gave way to put up their hand to 'thank you', tho its ok i rec'd nothing 99% of d time! which's why sometimes wen @ 80+, wen d veh behind me gave way to me switchin into em, me always wave 'thank you' to em too...becos appreciated car allows van in + its then again a 'sickness' habit la :)

Ha ha ha, happens only in Singapore, vehicle on the expressway slow down because of vehicle filtering into the expressway.
