I realized , when u try your best to find the destination thru directory , pax will appreciate more , believe me .

i also dun knoe wheres the place but let me check my directory
n then i press the meter n procced" So far all my pax ok with it
they r quite happy say its better than i ke siao then run round n round.
Another alternative i ask my buddy wheres the place then i head
towards there in a general direction then slowly go thru the details
of the route.

Most of the night passengers r still ok cos night passengers usually come out party , drinking , normally they always wanna go back ASAP so they usually dun mind guide u along the way unlike those day passengers especially those old uncle & old aunty , their favorite terms to say always same like " u r taxi driver and how come u do not know the way ", for me, i always tell them nicely "i m new driver, just started not long ago" , anyway just for ur info to them , our taxi exam mainly concentrating Route from Airport to Hotel and other tourist attraction, embassy , shopping malls, we din really tested on residential , dun believe me , u can always check it out ... normally after i say this , they usually will keep their mouth shut ...
sometime some passengers always like to use those old road name like "Or Gio Tao" , for me , i will tell them , u see my age , u have to tell me the present road name like old havelock road or indus road at least i will be able to know the way, those old road name , u can leave it to tell those older taxi drivers...
maybe poolman when he really very free , he can compile a list of older road name term with present road name term for the benefit of those new drivers n me also cos me still got alot of older road name dun really understand de ... hehe ...

If you have Apple iphone 3G or 3GS, just use google maps. It is free and is the best GPS I have ever used. Taxi drivers dont need the turn by turn voice prompts. What we need is the street directory with a big dot showing our current location. Then we look at the destination and head in that direction. Something like what Comfort/Citicab MDT does, but much much faster.

can call them and release the suspension. by far tis is the most bo liao thing CDG came up with.

mango, u r wrong , not 3 time in 1 hrs, it should be 3 rejection in 24hrs ,
example: 1 reject at 0800am, 2nd reject at 1200pm, 3 reject at 3pm , also will get ban from current booking for 1 hrs ...
My shift start from 6pm-6am , got 1 night at around 8pm+ , got 1 call come in, i reject it , then very surprise to see that the system shown "U Have Rejected 2 Call" but i remember that i din reject any call when i start my shift till that call come in, then the control explain to me whether did i rejected any call during my last shift from 0001am - 0600am cos their timer resetted at 12am at night de.

can try if happened to be at ulu location that lakeview cannot reach ma , at least got 2 alternative ... but i tell u that my comfort call drop alot after i join lakeview , my highest last time per month from comfort at least got around 80-100 booking per month... now think less than 20... haha ... me now same as thomas ma, peak hrs take comfort call, in town take lakeview call lor ... when lakeview quiet, at least still got backup ma ...
Me already Ban comfort advance call since few days ago, cos i tell them to stop pumping me those advance call liao , now i feel more Peaceful to drive , those advance call is very irritating , cos keep buzzing ... ping ...ping ... ping ... stupid system ...
