The rise in prices is likely to be smaller going forward .
if i never remember wrong back in 2007 or 2008 1 L of V- power cost $2.30-$2.40 plus before discount.

When the US economy is doing well or is showing signs of recovery from a recession, oil prices always go up. This is because oil is needed to power the economy. Factories all need electricity mah. More electrical consumption due to increased consumer demand = more oil needed. So the price goes up. But it will not go up forever. Some price correction will happen eventually if it gets too high.
So dont think too much about it unless you are a NYMEX oil trader like one of our members here?
if i din remember wrongly , the highest market price across all petrol kiosk for diesel in 2008 is around $2.033 per litre... it is very crazy when refueling...

Soon CNG will be up from $1.04 per litre to $1.09 at least .
Now CNG $1.04 per litre , or $1.31 per kg .
Ok leh now to drive CNG , just $0.11 more expensive than diesel .

best is to have 2 taxis. A diesel and a CNG taxi. If oil price go up, drive Transcab. If oil price go down, drive comfort/SMRT

That's right. Even if fuel is free and you cannot get pax, you still lugi rental. The most important is got biz, not cheap fuel.

Fuck sia, u have to blow $50 on fuel on a Fri/Sat? May I know which taxi is that? I can cover up to 600km during a half shift, but the diesel is still less than $50, and still got quarter tank left.

i can go for 200km bfore im near the cng kiosk tats my high
fuel cost. N i also i spend alot of time in town bfore 12am so
use alot of fuel waiting at traffic lights etc, after 12am flying 140km/h
everywhere haha. Lastly i heck care 1 i floor the pedal maybe tats y
my fuel costs veri high..... my average mileage on fri/sat is 500-600km
per day.....

Your sonata is the old generation one. The new sonata I heard got better mileage than the crown.
