Staggered is shutting out commuters from makibg a suddenly surge for taxis .
Also shut out cabby from making too much decision on " Should i take , or should i wait ? "
So all flat rate 20% all round from 5 to 12mn .
City surcharge $2 , Marina Sands +$1.

just spoke to a few 'seniors' working for very long in the customer service dept, from what they told me, i realise what a difficult time they were AND ARE having, both handling the customers, as well as placating the drivers with the 'appropriate' policy.
let me put it this way, the current system we having is borned out of necessary evil. true its evil but true its also necessary. becos if they anyhow tweaked it any other way else, according what they describe to me from their scenario planning, it will almost certainly skewed every other thing else one way or another, soon or eventually.
theres only one last thing remaining we cant figure out. how is MBS gonna price themselves? with or without CBD? and then after that, with or without surcharge?

the core of the surcharge must hit on the high demand areas like shenton way , marina, and orchard areas & CBD fringe area..
An all round 20% peak hr surcharge will kill demand in places like HDB towns , ouskirts.dont forget most comfort tio calls to these places. the drivers will die cock stand haha
the bookin fee's gotta adjust la but tell u la comfort up booking , their call levy also up. up to $4 they take $0.70. thats really unjustified, somemore most of the calls are fark shit type.
seems like LTA really having headache on this, let em think once in a while also good. meanwhile i just do my work can liao.
That time Miss Heng , Head of Department of Operations , ever told me , fare structures not her problem , taxi fare's department .
But she did told me , fare was set base on datas collected from survey done .
I thought it's a joke to base on collected datas .
With the rise of COE. More ppl will choose to take taxi then buying a new car. A $45K COE I can take many years of taxi rides and that does not include the body price of the new car

Cos of money , LTA set up CBD boundaries ..... that caused the taxi fare also got boundaries .
Worst is the administrator put CBD and Resort so important , someone else outside this area are going to suffer those agonies of waiting for taxis .
