Im actually a new TD and was hoping to find out if i were to go on a holiday, could i request from the taxi company to return the taxi for afew days. Or can i just find someone to drive for that period when im out.
Im currently driving a SMRT nissan taxi.
Can , u can find a Super Relief to drive for you during the absence .
But rate must be more attractive , cannot be full .
Like your rental $70 , for full swing , give them $50 like that for full swing .
U lose $20 , at least something , not $70 .

Yes relief must be registered with SMRT as well....
My advice, return ur SMRT cab if u are a newbie and go sign up with Comfort to learn faster.

If I am not mistaken, SMRT crown got 3 days free rental every month. Comfort crown got 1 day free rental every 4 months. The rent is exactly the same for both companies. SMRT may have much bad press, but they got some goodies too.
It depend on the contract. I just spoke to one TD with abt 5mths driving experiences using a Crown. or is it Nissan I forgot. He said he has only one day free rental.
They keep changing the contract and thats why i say return cab. Go drive relief for other cab driver. Trust me, less stress more money.
Driver with over 1 year of service can return back taxi for a few days, once a year basis. If not, SMRT got super relief that better option.
Ya man , if i am driving a Cedrid , good time to throw the vehicle back to the scrap yard .
Rest , and meanwhile , wait for a better vehicle .

Wad some lao jiao pple do is that when they wan to go on trips, they simply just hand over keys to taxi company. SMRT is the only cab I think with the stupid 1 year contract.
Anyway go to Woodlands SMRT HQ, go to the counter and there is a book that list down all the relief, super relief contact info.
