abt refusing customers and the places that we dun wish to go. Story telling by SPH to generate their sales . Its a one sided story all the time. They tot we are robots and not humans. Not a compassionate report. They interviewed CDG drivers.
Pax complain we refuse to take them, what about pax choosing taxi?
LTA must set rule that paxs cannot reject taxi in q also, right?
I like it when a Chrysler pull up in the taxi q. Most pax will display the "I don't want this" look.
Chrysler won't refuse pax 1.
if u interview pax saying "going west" and pax reply yes yes then they board and tell us uncle tuas south ave 14....wow knn go west not going to extreme west.

But seriously, I've seen thousand of times that a sampan taxi will just pick up pax from along the road inside CBD. For example, just along Church St, everyday I see at least five times this happens.
Why would those uncle risk their (and other road users') limbs and their licence to pick up those cheapo pax flagging along Church St? Don't they also think that picking up cheapo pax is equal to asking to get cheapo trips to those $&#@! places?

Everyone is like us , not doing very well .
In fact , not only us taxi business dropped , restaurant also dropped , coffee shop also dropped ! Looked like many people in the coffee shop ? But most are like drinking coffee and beer , food side dropped , cos all the tables occupied by football viewers .
Shopping centre also dropped .
Hotels also dropped , airport also less people coming in from Europe and Asia .
Poolman ever said before , WC affected him abit , but European Cup is the worst .
Just avoid going too much to Woodlands , Yishun , Sembawang , u stands a chance to survive .
