so far i kena overcharge before but $1 , it was on a sunday . ah pek stop metre then use mouth add $1 to the fare. i ask him uncle ah how come got $1? he say sunday all got $1.. knn then i see aiya ah pek chin chai , $1 isnt a lot but $3?? then i will make noise liao. hahaha

I ever heard from TD from a long Q at AP, say his friend ever met a driver use a longer route to reach his intend destination and even tell him that's the only route. Without saying anything he let his wife and children alight, after he throw $100 on the desk top ask the driver to just keep on driving till meter read $100. knn the driver himself also scare scare ask him pls don't play.
Alot of black sheep TD around, as pax we also must show no mercy...just quietly pay take receipt that's it.

1. Will give him the benefit of the doubt (maybe he honestly made a mistake) and ask him for explanation why there is surcharge.
2. At the end of the trip will ask for receipt and tell him that you know there is no surcharge and he was attempting to be dishonest and tell him that I will lodge a complaint to LTA. This to teach him that he cannot try to rob people this way. I may not actually complain , depending on his attitude and explanation.
3. Sorry, colleague or not, I don't like dishonest TD. Come on can we get rich just by charging a few bucks more? Even if he did it a thousand times, it's "only" a few thousand dollars, right? Too bad, he pick up the worng guy, got caught, and he has to face the music. Go lim kopi at LTA.

This is what I am doing everytime I board the taxi.
I pay according to the receipt, not from his mouth.
Not happy, will complain all the way with the receipt.
Get a receipt...... If u sure u kena scammed , file a complain to LTA..... cfm die one.

i will cancel it n change to AP surcharge even thought both r $3 for
normal rates. knn $3 more my meter press 1 more time can get liao

jus to share a super TL incident. The other night aft wk at Holiday Inn atrium, i was waiting for a cab when a city cab (toyota crown) alighted a pax. The bell boy asked him if he wants to pick up another pax he roll down his window and ask me where? tol him lengkok bahru. he said ok. So I sit in. Just then there was a booking came in for Tiong Bahru plaza, that bloody idiot ask me to get off said paiseh he gt booking?? but i was already sitted inside the cab before he took the call. As i din want to argue much since theres another cab behind I gt off and was stupid to just remember his 4digit 8296 bt forget the alphabet. Wanted to complain him bt den tink back haizzzzzzzzzz my own ah lau oso TD =sua lor. bt really piss me so off ![]()
Comfort & CityCab is like that one ..... but my principle is , if i dun take , means BUSY , dun take .
I dun do that , pax got up liao then got down again .

CDG's policy force driver to reject pax when the call came in.
Like in Devil's case, the distance from Holiday Inn Atrium to Lengkok Bahru may not be more than 5 min. If the driver took her and reject the call, this is counted as 1 rejection. 3 rejections will have him suspended from receiving call for 1 hour.
I have kena this kind of treatment before, therefore I know.

You can complain if you want. They ruthless to you, so you don't care them. He should follow Poolman's or Komade's good example. (note: I'm also a TD)

If the driver took her and ignore the call, it will NOT be counted as rejection.
(and therefor some smart TD here came out with idea to beat the rejection :) )

If only the meter runs for more than 5 min. Less than 5 min, consider rejection.
