As long as u have a pair of hands , hardworking , desire , hunger ...... and possess a positive attitude . U can make it .
At the end of the tunnel , we'll see lights .
Brink of bankrutcy can only make you stronger .
Fight your life on !
These problems can only motivate you on !
It does motivate me .
The most important , u must possessed the utmost respect for yourself , as well as being a taxi driver .
I respected myself as a taxi driver and it's profession , because no people can help me , driving a cab solved those problems .
Bankruptcies are categorized in 2 classes,
Self-Declared... or kena-ed sult by creditors...
Self-Declared cases don't get discharged easily... (at least) not until you fulfilled all obligations listed by OA. ( if you dreamt of getting the easy way out of your financial debts and ENDs all the calls, letters by creditors....).
Kena-ed suit to bankruptcy -
After the creditors have tried all means to recover their loans to you, one of the creditors will have to file a court summon and also place a "Deposit" with OA, before the court can filed a bankruptcy suit on you....
The "good" thing about this class is that you may get a discharge if OA recommends to court (after 5 years) that you have meet all requirements that have set out by the statutory board.
You are required to pay monthly instalment to OA (Origin Assignee). They will handle all your financial debts. You also need to apply to OA if you require to travel overseas.
Try you best to stay out (of bankruptcy)
If a bill have been passed on by the govt, (thread by one of the forumer), there is hope to avoid bankruptcy.
Try all other means...talk to your friends... don't get too depressed... It is just a financial mistake.... It is never the end of the world... Life goes on... !!!!
Good Luck !!!
Hate this feeling when bankers keep calling n calling everyday!!!! AND LTA HAVE NOT SENT THE LETTER YET!!!
To laojiaos here,
is it possible to start approaching taxi companies with the result slip from the testing centre?
I remember when I pass my Class 3, I'm allowed to drive with the tester's checklist that says I passed the TP even when the license from LTA has not arrived yet.
Hi bobby , i am a new bird here my advise is wait until u get the vocational licence on your hand i dont see any company doing that but smrt does, but with the crown and azira i dont think for a start that veh suit you unless u done mind an non auto gear veh for a start just post your details on the relief driving in the mean time and some one will contact you , may be you can ask advise from poolman ![]()
cheers
Since you have passed, you will get the license within 2 weeks time. Or if you want, you can call the coy you took the lesson from and ask them to expedite your TDVL.
If really that urgent, more important at this stage is to find a hirer who can take you as relief. This way you can start ASAP once you get the TDVL (while you are waiting for a cab, if you wish to be OMO hirer).

More haste, less speed. Don't rush into the first hirer that offers you a cab to drive. Be pro-active in looking for one, assertive when negotiating terms, and do your part in taking care of the vehicle, together with other relief's responsibilities.

Since you are waiting for your VL to arrive,

As i was told.. many newbies will be encouraged to join Comfort as their cabs carries a GPRs maping... more helpful for beginners..
