Just curious, where do u guys like to go inside CBD or in the suburbs. By taxi-stand, i mean those proper ones, not those suka suka park and queue near the MRT bus-stop. Hmm, actually u can share those too.
favourite ?
Anywhere which the Q is shorter .
Funan Centre ..... North Bridge Road .
Orchard Central Killiney Road .
Wisma Atria Taxi Stand
Millenium Tower
Singapore Flyer
MAS Building (shenton Way T/S ) opposite BestWay Building .
taxi stand on pearl hill terrace beside pearl centre, amenities like coffee shop, toilet, enough space for you to park one side so that you can relieve yourself. can pick up office workers, tourist, locals, etc...
are u refering to favourite taxi stands after midnite or wad? if after midnite , my favourite taxi stand to Q is hitachi tower. Over there got a very very comfy toilet. can wash face , shit , pee , sit and rest inside , all no problem.
Before midnite, no preference la , whoever call me to go which one i go. but there are certain blacklisted taxi stands in my book.
Keck Seng tower << this stand i really dunno why.... 9 out of 10 bookings i kena from there is , uncle sengkang , uncle punggol.
Another one with high no shows is straits trading bldg.... dunno why some yao guis would just zoom into this stand and pick and go. farkers never realised they could be hijiacking someone's pax.
Robinson Pt is another high no show stand.
yao guis plenty these days.. sometimes take calls also sian.

TD Uncle TCL must a taxi Lau-Jiao...![]()
for me i prefer to hotels n Q, singapore flyer or
where ever got calls beckon me...... :P
Just spoken with TCL's good buddy Mr Cheong .
KNN he hated Lucky Plaza , Takashimaya and the other one .... dun remember which one , total 3 t/s he hate to go .
yes taka!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! one the most jia lat taxi stand for me too. wisma is so much better
Sorry this thread is favourite , but i wanna bring out some hated t/s .
I hate Plaza Singapure T/S.
KNNBCCB want to go in via Handy Road , can really kill me .
Suburbs t/s ?
Can recommend one ?
Jurong Point ? 90% stick at Jurng West .
Lot-1 ? 98% all CCK or Bt Pj .
Tampines Mall ? 95% all East side .
Yishun or Causeay Point , 100% all North .
Suburbs t/s is a waste of my time .
if u guys love it , go on , u got no competition from Uncle Pool , grap whatever u can have , me let u have it .
Even IMM nowadays all West side .
All under $8 trip .
Another waste of time .
Let them rot !
If u guys kept supporting , they will never call a cab when it's really matters .
How to regconise short or long trip ?
If u saw trolleys , with bags and bags of Giant plastic bags , accelerate and fuck off , make one more round .
Let he behind taxi take this pax .
U are not wrong to drive off with BUSY
Jurong Point go 2 taxi stands , one at 7-11 side , this t/s sucks , go in cannot come out .
So i usually alight pax along the main road and drive off .
Dun waste my time , this side lots of Woodlands paxes .
Or Yishun .
So sorry to those cheapos , u must pay Uncle Poolman more for him to take you .
if nothing visible on the tariff column , good luck to you .
Anyway , i summaried , if u wanna Q at MRT taxi stand , pls accpet those facts that this t/s is meant for transist passengers , took a train down and switch to a cab to nearby .
These passengers .... pls let SMRT taxis take them .
Or YOG ( Yaos of the Guis ) drivers take them .
I mean after 8pm , not peak hours .
Let me explain ....
2 taxis .
Taxi A , chose to Q 10 minutes at Jurong Point , Got a pax to St 91 Jurong West , total $5 , took 10 minutes . Overall 20 minutes and need to charge into J Point t/s to Q for another 10 minutes .
Taxi B , chose to charge into CBD via Merchant Road , reach in 15 minutes . Picked anyone , $3 plus meter . Anywhere pax chose to go , anytime minimum $6 , if meter doesn't jump !
Then connect another $3 plus meter , another anytime $6 trip , still inside CBD !
Come tell me , which taxi deal was more lucrative ?
Taxi A or Taxi B ?
Saw the logic of letting Jurong Point paxes rot ?
My style is as follows, depending on what time i enter CBD.
First wave 8-10pm - Fairmont/Swissotel, Flyer, Pan Pac, Centennial Tower, CQ
2nd wave 10-1130pm - Lucky Plaza, PS, MBS, CQ
3rd wave 1130-12am - MBS, RWS, Cineleisure, BQ
Midnight onwards - Geylang, Joo Chiat, Mustafa, BQ, Orchard Tower.
personally i do not queue. except for AP.I only stop my taxi at taxi stand when there no taxi or only one taxi in queue. If there is a lot of taxi in queue, i normally roam around for commuter who is lazy to use taxi stand. But of course you only can do this after 8.30pm if you are in CDB to be safe.
