A lot of Yao Gui Sonata drivers these days

On numerous occasions i have come across sonatas cutting Q or purposely act blur .
1st incident while i was queuing at cineleisure, when the Q was moving , one blue sonata just cut in & act as if nothing happen .
2nd incident MBS hotel lobby. i was following this sonata in. there was already a Q outside at the turn. instead of making 1 round , that guy just cruise into the taxi stand . There wasnt any usher in sight , i horn at him but he just look straight , act blur as if nothing happened.
So i went to the Q outside and told the uncles there , knn yao gui just cut in the Q like that. the uncles just shake head and say aiya lang yao mah.
Those sonata drivers hor , please not only u are paying rental , every farking TD is paying rental also. why need to cut Q ? why need to make yourself look so low class? sonata rental too high is it? beh tahan is it ? fark la go drive crown lor or better still drive cedric , super low rental , can easy easy relax relax.
Next time i am going to take some pics and post here . i just got myself an 8.1 MP camera phone , time to put it to good use.

Once a raining day ....
Around 5pm .
Lot-1 long Q of pax , also happened to be a Friday evening .
I was Q-ing like anybody's else .
Sekali my turn time , one sonata zoomed into the taxi stand , cos under the shelter , alight paxes .
But instead of moving out , he picked & go .
KNN i shake my head .

Nowadays , 10pm , can see numerous Sonata Q-ing at John Hancock t/s .
During my time , rush period , this t/s only meant for TransCab , Silver , Yellow Top , Prime etc ...
Now time has changed , Sonata took a big share there .

Like my friend Tan & Henry , if Cablink disturb them , they also just Pick & Go at One Raffles Quay .
Cos according to them , this is the place with lots of Comfort ON CALL . So they hijack .

Cannot blame .... cos now due to oil hike , many SMRT , Silver and Wish drvers all jump into Sonata's fleets .

I hijacked one on Thursday night. The pax called Comfort cab but haven't arrived. Hope it's not FT or TCL. 罪过罪过。

i have had numerous occasions a sonata hijack my pax while hunting on street during day time.their pick up is so gd that i auto give up whenever i feel they going hijack me,how to fight a sonata with a cng wish?

I have TDs from comfort and these seniors are very relax when go abt in their bz . Maybe there are some bad apple who are new in the bz . So they tot of making faster money by making other TDs life difficult.
Sometimes we TDs know that what goes up must come down. Normally I will observed the car plate no and write it down in my special book. If I ever saw the same taxi without the driver , then the taxi sure jialak.

sorry to TDs if my title sounded offensive but i just cant help but highlight it. hahaha. and do u all notice.... the cab population swells on friday nights? and maybe also sat?
its like there are many many weekend drivers. This roughly explains why the call bookings are so weak in town on a friday. you see a lot a lot just pick N go as if its going to be the last pax available.
So my theory goes like this , mon to thurs - most lao guis with horns out there. fri to sat - all the part timers come in and take bizness away from the lao guis . lao guis left high N dry , kan kao bo lat. hahaa

I fully understand how you feel. The fact is that it is not just those sonata who are playing such trick. Just take a look at taxi queue at suntec tower 1 to 4. There are 1 pick up lane and 1 alighting lane but very often you will see taxis driving straight into pick up lane to drop off pax and at the same time pick 1 pax and go while empty cab are queueing behind. Be professional and everybody need to pay rental and bring food home.

no lah... fri nite about 8pm to 10pm working town sure quieter than mon to thu... cos many stay later in town to party mah...

sat and sun many part timers i believe... fri nite no way!... all the lao gui hold tight to their taxi... that's y very hard for nite relief to get fri slot...

want to drive fri nite slot usually means must drive 3 nites at least...including 1 lousy nite e.g. 1,3,5 or 3,5,7,.... if can get fri plus 1 nites only, damn lucky liao... unless you are best relief...every hirer rush to sign you up.... bo bian... hahaha
