If u are those commuters , still in the dark , never understand why u couldn't get a cab after 8pm , at this listed location .
Pls take note this main reason .
U are too near CBD ! CBD paxes , lots of them , paying an extra $3 tariff to get a cab .

Try taking a cab at 7.55pm , i would say 90% of drivers would want that 5 minutes peak hour surcharge .

If u are are around the listed locations , pls .............. dun wait til 8pm , u will be very disappointed .
7.55pm , u can see 10 taxis .
8.00pm , u can see 0 taxi .
All of a sudden .

If u are frustrated , waited 20 minutes still no taxis after 8pm .
Pls call 6552-1111 if u are heading to below listed destination .

U have got a higher chance of getting a Comfort Cab than other cabs .
Cos the drivers do not know where u heading .
Oher companies know .
And most who know , will reject this places listed above .

Commuters must remembe , Singapore Taxi fare is too ridiculously low .
Normal flag down during rush period , u must be prepare to wait for one .
Supply and demand .
It's commuter's that created the scenario .
Singapore economy getting better , pls prepare to wait longer for cheap taxis .
Many many people willing to pay more for fast cabs .

A location , sandwich between 2 piece of area , which the commuters willing to pay taxi drivers $3 extra to pick them up .
One is RWS
The other is CBD .
Dun blame cabbies .
It's Public TransPort Council who decide on those fare structures .
They decide on those surcharges .
If not happy , complaint to them .
And attach this forum , and forward to them .
And tell them Uncle Poolman say one .

In the event ..... important event u need to attend .
And u are really late , and calling also no cab , try this .
Eg ur wife giving birth , somebody is really sick , somebody is dying soon , anything very very urgent .
Believe me this , it will 100% work .
Try calling 6254-1117
Tell them : " Find me a cab , urgent , $5 plus meter , under 10 minutes wait , asap ! "
Believe me , call centre like Boon Lay , Taman Jurong , Lake View can find you a cab !
Money can make a world go round .
And LTA has answered commuters quiries , that as long as commuter willing to pay more , LTA see no wrong doings .

Iphone also can , sms also can ...... providing drivers willing to take , but once they shunned all bookings , u are in trouble if urgent .I personally knew a few Comfort cabbies , they reject most sms and iphone bookings .
They only accept bookings with nice names .
if ur name is Ramesh Rajachandran booking a cab , u are in trouble not getting a cab .
And if ur name is Mr .Nagamoto , believe me , taxi will be there in 5 minutes .
Nagamoto never go Woodlands !
Ramesh Rajachandran , most will go Sengkang Rivervale .

Then let them call Comfort .See if Comfort & CityCab drivers keen on them ?
If 1000 comfort taxis in town , 900 got a job outside CBD .
Only 100 sweep inside CBD , the rest stands a chance .
