hii all, just got call from SMRT, saying dat i can collect my tvl license nx tuesday.
qn is, is it possible to apply for relief at transcab or comfort w/o my license first?

Precisely. Since your collection is next Tuesday, take these few days and try finding a hirer first... Who know... you might not even find a suitable one by the time you collect your license.
The taxi company will need to make sure you are a qualified Taxi License Holder before they can accept you as a relief driver. So go collect license first then go Comfort or Transcab to apply. And O dun listen too much when you go collect license. Just collect and go.

You cannot apply as relief until get the licence, however you can go CDG and register your name as "relief looking for hirer" first. Ask them to give you list of hirer looking for relief in your prefered area, so you can start contacting the hirer(s).
