Hi TDs, was just wondering about this.
Am a student of NP, but living in Tampines(the new new opp Mosque one).
Almost* every weekday due to the stupid inefficient shuttle bus from Tampines Int to NP, I make it a point to take taxi at around 8a.m so I can reach NP by 9a.m.
With the same point above, the traffic back from NP to East is crazy when school ends(at 6p.m) and thus it is cab again.
Usually it is about $50 per day*, sometimes more, up to $65 if jam bad bad.
Some TDs out there like this kinda travel right? One time lumsup E-W or v.v. during peak hours... Some TD damn happy, can tell.
But got TDs here feel that E-W or v.v. during peak hours is no good ornot? Just wanted to know what you TDs here feel about almost-X-country travel during peak hours.
* E-W direction on Tues, Wed, Thurs, W-E direction Mon-Fri
Also, just wanted to ask.
Do TDs avoid areas like Clementi Road or Tampines during peak hours?
Seems to be a lack of taxis...

No la , Tampines is famous for being low in demand for taxis in the morning peak hour , i hate Tampines when i OMO .
Too many taxis cruising .

Yeah some drivers prefer lesser long marathon journey during the peak .
Cos peak hours , if connection good , like raining day , the shorter the better .
