A peice of advice i was thinking like you once, but after coming to this forum, and with all the hardnock advice from the brothers here i choose to be a relief driver with transcab, and yes i hold a day job with minium work to be done, all this discussion and talking is ok, but when come to action, sorry to say it does not work as plan, just be a relief first try out and then decide laters if u ask me, to be and omo in 1982 i could have consider if i were at that age to drive a cab those day were $32 per day u can park your cab for 5 days and cover the rent on the weekend, recently a friend of mine who was driving azira as omo , i advice him, dont and he have also a job in the day time, now this 23rd july he return back the azira
think carefully , as what kingskong said

Hi Bro,If you have specific target earning to dollar and cent, 20 bucks is hell lot of difference.Unless your target is only a range.Because when you are short of 20 bucks to reach your target, i may mean 1-2 hour more on the road depend of luck. especially when you are short of 20 buck at 1am on monday or tuesday. You see a lot of cab roaming in town and and you will either roam or queue at stand.if lady luck smile at you. you roam and pick up one from town to jurong,yishun,etc... with midnight, you reach target. If you suay, you roam for half and hour and still no pax. waste fuel. And you queue at clark quay for half an hour, kenna one to fullerton. you also have not reach target. so another hour for you. So 20 bucks is a lot. Initially i think the same. but if you have strong contacts for jobs, Limo is a good car to drive.
I already sign with Transcab Wish 1.8 dropping the idea of the limo. Reason is newer car and cheaper rental. So can keep overheads lower. No need so stress.
