My hirer who is my TDVL Classmate met with an accident just now. Got to go down Silvercab later ..... I heard from him the taxi is totally wreck...any advice to talk to SilverCab?

hmmm...Is it on saturday afternoon?, i saw one along Mountbatten road, silvercab hit a honda stream, i saw that honda more worst off, front left tyre also bent flat, gone case.

Talk what? Pay $4500 as stated in the contract for total lost of vehicle. The only thing is to negotiate for an instalment plan if they allowed it in the first place.

Sorry, wrong info from someone from somewhere.
Went through my copy of the contract, the actual amount for TOTAL LOSS were,
Crown/Cedric $2500
Kia Magentis $3500
Kia Carnival $5000
Toyota Wish $4000
Merc/Skoda $4000However there is this clause,
"It is hereby agreed and understood that Premier may in its absolute discretion alter the aforesaid amounts as Premier may deem fit."
It could be interpreted as
if Premier decides to repair the vehicle instead of scraping it, the amount of the repair might be higher than the above-mentioned amount.
