For the first time I saw yesterday Pax choosing Chrysler at MBS Hotel lobby. I'm driving crown, a Sonota in front of me, but the pax choose not to board both of our cab and go to the Chrysler behind..
SMRT got many Chryslers waiting in their Woodlands depot for you brother.

LV has got rich people wanting a Chrysler , $10 booking , excluding meter .
I was the one broadcasting out the job from Sentosa Beaufort Hotel , hahahaha , to juz River Valley .
There was once I was washing my taxi and then this Chrysler was vacuuming and polishing. He shared with me that he has about ten regular customer that book his morning and evening commute. Each commute will be at least $30 to $70, and he said that these customers are people who are very easy with money. That is: fare = $70 and the customer said " here is $100 you can keep it."
The other time, he would queue at the casino and attraction area. He would then given namecards to the expat or any customer who is willing to board his cab to get more regular customer. OMO 6 days a week. He encouraged me to take the challenge if I think I was good with customer service, he also said that it is an easy cabby life.
And that was not the first chrysler cabby who told me that...

I rather take merc.
No chrysler for me, no no no and no.
Damn expensive to ride on.
And the black car should not queue with others.
The black car must only do booking business.
No pick up pax on the street.
I have seen that many times, it is up to the pax, he paid for it, Taxis in singapore have become like foods in a restaurant, so many variety. This give pax the luxury and option to pick and choose. Like in casinos, out of 10, 1 could be the a big winner, he or she will surely like to go home in style. Those losers will look out for crown.
On the other hand, looking at Singapore road and distance, pax do not really spend alot of time on a taxi, unlike in thailand or malaysia or indonesia, they may go long distance due to their land mass is big. For some pax, anything will do, just get me to the destination can already, time will not be much different, how far can you speed in Singapore with those cameras and traffic lights.

Spore lots of traffic lights will make the meter jump very fast especially you take the black car.
