Sushi tours - links Sushi is the most famous Japanese dish outside of Japan, and one of the most popular dishes among the Japanese themselves. In Japan, sushi is usually enjoyed on special occasions, such as a celebration. During the Edo period, "sushi" refered to pickled fish preserved in vinegar. Nowadays sushi can be defined as a dish containing rice which has been prepared with sushi vinegar. There are many different types of sushi. Some popular ones are:
Nigiri
Small rice balls with fish, shellfish, etc. on top. There are countless varieties of nigirizushi, some of the most common ones being tuna, shrimp, eel, squid, octopus and fried egg.
Gunkan
Small cups made of sushi rice and dried seaweed filled with seafood, etc. There are countless varieties of gunkanzushi, some of the most common ones being sea urchin and various kinds of fish eggs.
Norimaki
Sushi rice and seafood, etc. rolled in dried seaweed sheets. There are countless varieties of sushi rolls differing in ingredients and thickness. Sushi rolls prepared "inside out" are very popular outside of Japan, but rarely found in Japan.
Temaki
Temakizushi (literally: hand rolls) are cones made of nori seaweedand filled with sushi rice, seafood and vegetables.
Oshizushi
Oshizushi is pressed sushi, in which the fish is pressed onto the sushi rice in a wooden box. The picture shows trout oshizushi in form of a popular ekiben (train station lunch box).
Inari
Inarizushi is a simple and inexpensive type of sushi, in which sushi rice is filled into aburaage (deep fried tofu) bags.
Chirashi
Chirashizushi is a dish in which seafood, mushroom and vegetables are spread over sushi rice. It can resemble domburi with the difference being that chirashizushi uses sushi rice while domburi uses regular, unseasoned rice.Note that "sushi" becomes "zushi" in word combinations in which "sushi" is the second word, e.g. nigirizushi.

Gourmet-dori in downtown Kagoshima
Kagoshima's cuisine is also known as Satsuma Cuisine (薩摩料�, Satsuma Ry�ri) after the old name of Kagoshima Prefecture. It is one of the most distinct local cuisines because of Kagoshima's isolated location at the southern end of Kyushu. Travelers may notice some influences of Okinawa cuisine, as Okinawa was controlled by Satsuma for a few hundred years in the past. A wide variety of restaurants can be found in downtown Kagoshima, for example along Gourmet-dori ("Gourmet Street").
Satsumaage Popular across the country, Satsumaage is one of the most famous dishes of Kagoshima. It mostly consists of a paste of minced fish that is then deep fried. The type of fish used in the paste can vary, but is often bonito, mackerel or sardines. Some other ingredients are also included in small quantities to add a bit of flavor, such as pickled ginger and vegetables. 
Kibinago Kibinago is a small herring fish that is typically served raw assashimi with a vinegared soybean paste. Sometimes called "silver sprat" in English, kibinago are about 10 centimeters long and are often used as bait for tuna. 
Torisashi Torisashi is raw chicken ("tori" in Japanese). Readers may recognize the "sashi" in torisashi from sashimi (thinly sliced raw seafood). Needless to say, the chicken must be served very fresh. Both the meat of the bird and the heart are often served. The dish is usually accompanied by ground ginger and soy sauce, which is used as a dipping sauce. 
Tonkotsu Tonkotsu is a stew made with pork and miso that is served with vegetables, such as daikon and konnyaku. The pork is cooked very slowly so that it becomes very soft and the bones can also be eaten. A large amount of shochu is added into the broth as well, which gives tonkotsu a slightly sweet flavour in addition to the savory taste of the meat and miso. 
Kurobuta and Kuroushi Kurobuta and Kuroushi literally mean, respectively, "black pork" and "black beef". The name comes from the color of the animal's skin, not from the actual meat itself. The Kurobuta are Berkshire pork that were originally imported to Kagoshima about 400 years ago, while the Kuroushi were bred in Kagoshima. Many shops will prominently advertise either Kurobuta or Kuroushi as one of their dishes. Kurobuta is often eaten as tonkatsu (breaded, deep fried pork cutlet, see photo) or shabu shabu (a hot pot of thinly sliced meat and vegetables), while Kuroushi can be enjoyed as a traditional Western steak. 
Satsuma Shochu Shochu is a clear, distilled liquor with an alcohol content of about 25%, that is popular across Japan, but especially in Kyushu. The shochu that is unique to Kagoshima is made from local sweet potatoes (Satsumaimo). Restaurants in Kagoshima will often have a variety of Satsuma Shochu on offer. It can be enjoyed straight, on the rocks (with ice) or mixed with hot water. Shochu is also used in cooking. -
The taste is sweet in favour, taste are not the same like us over here, cause over here our are salty.

Sashimi if you are in Kagoshima only found there.
Just like fresh (ikan bilis) like our but the size are larger.
No fishy smell.

The above photographs were taken on the highway from Fukuoka,
after all my kakis assemble at the airport those remaining 4 flew from Taipei,
we headed down to the highway straight to Kagoshima city took us nearly 4 hours this journey.
A question.
So did you all went gate -crash to the tour fair today at the convention hall,
its last day, entrance fee you need to pay 4 dollars, and purchase their tour packages you need to pay them immediately with deposit. you go later they use your money now immediately how many millions are in their hands as today according to paper....hahaha.
here this whole expedition, all are fresh from the oven no need middlemans. we also can do it, what so difficult....must headed to those kind of playground, those tour fairs.

I, love Japan Highways,
Driving 10 hours not a probelm there.
so far not even one incident ,
never at all see any traffic police with those speed radar,
like those white hungry ghosts on top the over head bridges just love your money...here.
no stress on their highway.
we Singaporean drivers just obey their rules, we are safe.

This the the gadget that brought us to North South East West in Kyushu.
Only some minor cockups, just wasted a bit times waited for there other missing convoy to assemble,
other than that, we must thank this. technology. without this than will be a big headaches for us not local drivers in Japan.

Reports cause unfamiliar with the roads condition and many other factors.
in the car cabin only the pasengers and the driver know. When involved with some unforseen accidents only the local police will investigate and their reports that is the final result...
Today with the modern technology...Just only S$39 purchase in Singapore market one HD portable DVR 2.5inches TFT LCD Screen, Just bring along one with you installed in your rented car there, sounds pictures all there just get a higher SD card. that can record at longer hours. finished just bring back to Singapore.
