Two years ago this bowl of ramen at Kagoshima i ate.
Two year later the same old place still the same price the same quality the same portion.
so who is wrong? the vendor must be crazy.
not jacking up the price after two years.

Talking about foodcourt there are plenty there and like here.
Clean is the main issue their food court.
No need to rated them A B C with certificates,
still the same even they are issue here.
Untidy.

No way we can challenge them.

no harassment from the vendors,
over here. when you walk past them,
the vendors will be shouting us to patronize their stall shouting over you.
Especially those drinks stall vendors often do this, just sit down not decided what to eat, they start to harass you...with drink first attack.
Over there this can never happen.
So this must learn from them.
Far behind...lah.

See at our local food courts or hawker centres, fish head and bone, tissue paper, chicken bones and many other, after finished your food, just left unattended and vanished without sight, waiting for the cleaner to do the leftover.

Everyones are doing the same in Japan.

Gion Matsuri
One of the most important festivals of the year, and one that takes over the city of Kyoto for almost a month as the town comes together to prepare and take part. I have more photos from the parade and the preparation stage as well. Here are a few highlights for today.
One of the floats (yamaboko) comes down Kawaramachi street

There are no nails used in any part of the structure. All moving along joined with just wood and rope
Making the turn at the corner of Kawarmachi and Oike dori. Not an easy task with all of that weight to move. No steering here. Just bamboo under the wheels and a bit of muscle pulling on the ropes

Chrysanthemum Festival in Sengan-en
The Chrysanthemum Festival - a traditional autumn event in Kagoshima
A wide array of flower sculptures and arrangements, including award-winning works of the flower competition held by the Kagoshima Prefecture Chrysanthemum Association, chrysanthemum towers, figures and floats are being displayed in the garden of Sengan-en.
Event Period : 1 Nov (Thu) ~ 25 Nov (Sun)

Ohara Matsuri - A Dance Festival Attended by 20,000
Ohara Matsuri, a dance festival held at Tenmonkan in downtown Kagoshima, is attended by about 20,000 people. It is also the largest festival of its kind in southern Kyushu. Dancing in unison to traditional music such as the Ohara-bushi (a popular tune of Kagoshima) and the likes, participants come dressed in traditional Yukata (summer style Kimono), Happi (festive overcoat), and some even wear home-made costumes.
"Hana Densha (Flower Trams)", which are essentially street trams decorated with colourful festive lights, are parked in the dance area to brighten up the festive mood. Spontaneous participation is also greatly encouraged! So what are you waiting for? Come join in the Ohara Matsuri!

The end of Edo period (19 C.), with the appearance of the ships from the great western powers in Japanese waters, Japan faced an external threat. SHIMADZU Nariakira, the lord of the Satsuma clan promoted modernization and industrialization projects on the larger scale. He constructed an industrial complex in Iso on the outskirts of Kagoshima, and named it “Shuseikan”. After his death, the machinery factory was constructed by the people who succeeded his dying wishes in 1865. At now, it becomes the main building of historical museum”Shoko-Shuseikan”, and is specified for the important Cultural Property.

Shoko-Shuseikan has exhibited the history of the Shimadzu family and Kagoshima. There is a rich history and a culture which Kagoshima was brought by the sea.
Shuseikan projects, the modernization of Satsuma domain also received a big influence from overseas. We explain about the Shimadzu family, the sea, and the modernization using a lot of materials, models and images.
May 1865 The machine factory was constructed May 22, 1923 Museum ”Shoko-Shuseikan” open(managed by Shimadzu family). Nov. 18, 1956 Managed by Shimadzu-limited. Feb. 25, 1959 The site was registered National Historic Site. Jun.21, 1962 Shoko-Shuseikan main building was registered National Important Cultural Properties. Mar.5, 1990 Special Building was opened. Oct. 8, 2005 Main Building was Renewal opened Jan.5, 2009 “The group of modernization industorial heritage in Kyushu Island and Yamaguchi Prefecture”, including the former “Shuseikan” industrial complex and the former machine factory was put on the list of World Heritage.
Satsuma Rebellion The first test of the young Meiji government came with the revolt of the powerful Satsuma clan based in the southern region of the island of Kyushu. This influential clan was headed by the Shimazu family, which had been founded by Shimazu Tadahisa, son of Minamoto Yoritomo, in the Kamakura period. It was one of the two powerful clans (the other was the Choshu) that made the restoration of power to the Emperor possible. After nine years of working close to the central government, the samurai of Satsuma had grown dissatisfied with the direction the government was taking. They organized a considerable army to fight against the untried troops of the central government. It was a momentous clash between traditional Japanese warfare, as waged by the sword-wielding individual warriors, and the new peasant army, trained in western strategy and using western weapons. The rebellion was led by Saigo Takamori, a giant of a man with an engaging personality who, just a few years earlier, had been a leader in the government and who, as field marshall, had actually been responsible for forming the government army that he now opposed. Saigo was one of the three young samurai who had joined the government and whose personal magnetism had helped to weld it together. The second was Kido Koin,a samurai from the Choshu clan, who was an extraordinarily able diplomat, a master of the art of persuasion. Kido's historical importance rests primarily upon his conviction that feudalism had to be abolished if the nation was to prosper together with his ability to convince the feudal lords that it was in their own interests, as well as their patriotic duty, to return the Emperor to power and to support the new central government. The third of the triumvirate was Okubo Toshimichi who, as Saigo, was also a member of the Satsuma clan. Saigo was the impetuous man of action, Kido the diplomat, and Okubo the master planner of the new regime. Later it was because of the opposition of Okubo to Saigo 's ideas for conquest and expansion that Saigo resigned from the government. Saigo had advanced a plan for the conquest of Korea that included sending an envoy to that country to make impossible and insulting demands. This would result, he explained, in the Koreans executing the envoy and would thereby give Japan an excuse for declaring war. The envoy, he insisted, would be himself. Okubo and Kido refused him, and Saigo went back to his home in Kyushu. There, he was prevailed upon to join the rebellious samurai and to lead them against the government army. The government acted swiftly to crush the rebellion. The fighting was brief but bloody. Saigo and his men fought well, but the government soldiers easily triumphed. When he was badly wounded, he committed suicide in the samurai tradition, rather than be captured. But his contribution to the early government, his bravery and spirit were not forgotten. He became a hero to future Japanese soldiers and was pardoned posthumously by the Meiji Emperor, whom he had both supported and opposed.

Alway i drove to the nearby Marina Barrage or the Ferry Terminal, i saw many stock your garden had kept on the open space.
To my knowledge this are all the same either a little larger or a little higher the concept all are the same you copy me, i copy you.
People like us had seen this before nothing new, sorry i am not talking big, just my opinion.
