  Every single planning is still ongoing ...

  Discussions has been going on ....

  Guarantee a Bigger party than before ....

  Cos some Lake View juniors will be there as well ....

  Some at least 10 odd members of the 30 from Lake View as well as members from Sgforums , what you think ?

   But this is not an offical Lake View BBQ , it's among us .

  If i announce it as Official Lake View BBQ , some 100 over hungry drivers will come for free .

  I know them la knn hahahah

  Due to some considerations for some Muslim counterpart attending , we had decided to go - Pork-less .

  Pork is out of our menu .

  Especially to my good old dear Idle Melayu Manumatica .

  This season , Home Team Chalet is out of contention .

  Our targetted chalet will be at National Service Resort Country club at Changi Coast Walk , off Tenah Merah .

  We had seriously consider this as a family day for some OMO members , who has got limited time with their family .

  Good time to bring them along .

  Initial plans will be 2 days chalet .

  One day for your family , the other solely for taxi drivers .

  How about that ?

  It's a headache task for organising ....

  Most likely it will be at National Service Resort Country Club .

  Which day ?

  We are trying to do it sometime after Chinese New Year .

  Most likely on a Sunday morning check-in . And maybe they need one more day , so Monday as well .

  This is our industry's low period .

  Low period for many businesses , including this country club , meaning hoping for a cheaper rate .

  How much per head ?

  I am still budgetting .....

  I am not going for the same rate we did it at Home Team .

  This time , it will be slightly higher , cos we are targetting a classier chalet , a club , with various facility .

  Cos Lake View bosses are subsidising some , so LV members will pay less this time . Cos Boss paying a bit for them .

  Not me paying .

  So maybe it's like $40 , $50 and $60 for families .

  We will see how .

  Anyway , like what Patrick and me had discuss .....

  $40 or $60 , for us ...... okay la .

  Tentatively .... Mid February , we try to avoid Valentine Day on 14th .

  Somewhere after 14th will be fine .

  Maybe March 2011 , early March .

  Depends on Resort Club's chalet availability .

  I'll try to book a chalet , Sunday can check in ..... so the guys can bring their children go swimming , cycling etc activity for the whole morning and afternoon .

  By 5pm , if budget allow , i'll get a set of simple Buffet Dinner cum BBQ .

  I am thinking about those buffet like my daughter's full month type .....

  Fish balls , bee hoon , fried rice , sambal prawns , curry chicken etc ....

  Then BBQ .....from 7pm .

  If chalet cost $360 ( for Safra member rate )

  BBQ Catering , say $500 .

  Buffet Catering , say $300 .

  Minimum we need $1160 .

  If 30 regulars turn out , minimum everyone come out $38 .

  I think depending on turnout , $500 for BBQ not enough one la .

  Beverage + others = $300 .

  We need $2000 to sort everything out .

  If 40 going , meaning $50 per head .

  Family $60 .
